I've been lusting over the Dingo ever since I first saw it, many months ago. I could never justify spending big bucks on a mod, but I found one in the classifieds and offered up a trade for one of my seldom-used mods. Lucky me, I've now got a Dingo setting next to me, just about brand new.

I just want to say, this little guy is an absolutely beautiful little mod, that works even better. Extremely compact, but with heft that just exudes quality. The switch is lightyears beyond what I was expecting. Exceptionally smooth, with an awesome feel... and the locking mechanism is fantastic! Very tactile and easy to use. The fact that replacement bits and pieces are so readily available just makes the whole thing that much nicer. I've seen much more expensive mods with far less engineering. I commend Atmizoo for not pricing their mods at ludicrous price points, even though they most certainly could. I really have no idea why these aren't more popular among the "high end mod" crowd.

Just wanted to throw that in here and thank Atmizoo for creating such a splendid little mod!

Hey, thanks a ton for the great feedback!!!

As always, price and value are different, subjective things. A high price + "apparent" scarcity can increase the perceived value of a product - that's basic human instinct :)

Hi guys hoping to get some input from some Guppy plus Bayou owners. I really like this setup but before I buy, I had a couple of questions:

1. What kind of batteries are you using? AW IMRs or the AW Protected. I realize in a mech, the IMRs are safer chemistry so probably better but I hate having to guess when to swap batteries out in a mech (especially good mechs where the performance doesn't taper off as much). I like the fact that the protected batteries automatically cut off once the battery has been drained to a safe point.

2. Any idea whether the flanged Diver v2 works in this or do I need to go flangless?

Thanks in advance for your help, much appreciated.

I don't think you'll find hardly any mech users running protected batteries

Hi,

I've got the two sets of 16340 batteries but simple IMR AW or Efest are just great for it. You can run with protected one also if you'd like. Buy enough, depending on your vaping maybe one through three batteries a day.
I use the diver V2 Flanged but i also aslo have Flangless for my Billet box and it works just fine.
It's an amazing Pocket MOD.

Battery test-review 18650 comparator

AW 16340 IMR and Efest V2 IMR (both 550mAh) seem to be the best performers.

Over-discharging an IMR battery is not a problem since you'll get annoyed by the reduced vapour production long before the battery has reached a very low state of charge.

The discharge profile of a battery is the same no matter which mech mod you use: All batteries have a steep initial "loss" of voltage and as the battery discharges, the voltage drops slower. When the battery reaches around 10-20% of its capacity, the voltage again starts to drop very abruptly and it becomes really obvious that the cell needs to be charged ;)

I use AW IMR 16340's and have had great experiences with them. One will last me half the day, and a second is VERY easy to carry around with me, along with extra juice, re-building materials, etc.

On a other note, does anyone know how long it takes for something to get from Greece to the mailbox in the US via DHL?
