I'm pretty jealous lol, fist time I wished I didn't live on the island, like half way across the world from wet vapes.

Lol, that's reassuring but damn that's a long time considering how close u are. Guess it comes down to whatever customs office it hits, I'm hoping mine goes to Vancouver cause they are pretty efficient over there.

Sorry, not "everyone" can see it. Maybe I'm the only one, but Hana has every right to defend their trademark and their product. As has been pointed out in this thread several times by others, a failure to defend an owner's trademark could possibly lead to loss of their trademark.

I also find it interesting that many here have suggested that the loss of Hana as a company would be no problem, but poor little counterfeiting Illvapes should be protected from big, bad Hana.

even though they say there is no room for sympathy in business and although ive personally been negatively affected by illvapes, i cant help but feel bad for them after that email. "just because you can do something doesn't mean you should", words ive lived by my entire life and has made me a slightly less obnoxious person because of it, hana modz should have embraced this saying, instead they have successfully succeeded in destroying a small vape shop and online vendor. sueing them and doing it so publicly was a double edge sword that hana modz may have not realized and may sill not have, the vape community is huge but a tightly woven one... what sets us apart from other vice industries is that we help one another grow and learn for the better of the vape scene, we dont sue each other and destroy small businesses without first considering the alternatives, because lets be honest.. there were A LOT of alternatives. what hana modz did was emotional and was wrong... everyone see's this. a company like hana modz can come and go and no one will miss it, but its when you start shutting down the vendors and B&M's is when your truly affecting the scene.

on another note:
most of us started vaping out of necessity, a way to quit this disgusting habit that has loomed over our heads for the better part of our lives. but then it slowly became more apart of us and turned into a lifestyle, a habit we wanted to accept. i read all these comments on this thread sometimes getting out of hand, im not mad at it and im not afraid of it... all i see is passion for something that makes you happy. now can anyone ever remember being this passionate about cigarettes? it doesn't happen...

wow nice,i agree.hana will get its just rewards, and I don't think they'll be good either.

***Not at all, Hana should have definitely defended themselves and TM*** The problem that most of us have is that they "SINGLED" out ONE Vendor, when there are several (even seen on this thread in the last few days) who DID and CONTINUE doing the same as Illvapes..................That is the problem, is no different than if you get robbed by a 5 individuals and you point the finger at ONE of them and just tell the others, ah is OK I'm good with just this guy, that is what HANA is doing wrong!!!:2c:

you go after the one with the biggest pocket book/wallet

makes sense

So if that is the case (the biggest pocket book) then let Hana be honest and say that this was a "Money Grab".....You are either defending yourself (in which case you stop ALL offenders) or you have a Personal Issue with that ONE Vendor.

p.s. I have no business or affiliation with any of the parties.....Just do not like UNFAIR practices....

I have been doing more testing if the clone. IMO it is slightly under powered in comparison to my vaporshark DNA 30. I willing be testing this on a scope when it comes in. If my opinions are true my VS dna30 will be torn down and the chips will be swapped. The wife loves the VS but thinks the DNA is to powerful for her. Either way happy wife, happy life. It'll be good to get her off that old ego Batt anyway.

I thought it was my imagination. I felt my vaporshark hit harder too.

LOL, Illvapes (and others) sought to use Hana's trademark to increase their profits, charging more for those with the Hana logo than the no-logo version, yet Hana is involved in a money grab? Illvapes went out of their way to associate the product with the one created by Hana. I think they were the most obvious. Companies who conducted business quieter drew less attention to themselves.

I guess I will respectfully Agree to Disagree. BTW my "Money Grab" comment was in direct relation to the person that said that Hana just went after the company with the deepest pockets (that is usually a money grab). Once again I am in total agreement with Hana defending themselves, but I am totally against the way they went about it by Singling Out 1 Company.:)

IMHO, Hana went after the company that was easiest to locate and the most ill-prepared (like what I did there?) to defend themselves in court. Flame me if you like, but i love clones. The only authentic I've purchased is a Big Nasty mech and I was sorely disappointed in the mod's performance. Unless I hit the lotto, it's the last authentic that I'm likely to purchase unless prices come waaaay down.
