Accessories is one area (especially smart phone and I Pod stuff ) thats ridiculously overpriced.

This is what I was saying before. I have a cheapo external battery charger with a usb out on it that has the same specs as an apple a/c adapter for half the cost, and it will charge my phone battery as well as something via usb! It's because they are pretty.

If you already have the clone then you can replace every single part except the battery holder, using a real Evolv DNA30 chip for less than $80. Buttons, 510 connector, USB charging chip, Evolv DNA30, wires, and silver solder for less than $80. If you know what you're doing and willing to spend the extra time to trim, route, and secure the wires and use a plastic DIM rail to hold the PCB you could rebuild the clone using only about 6 drops of epoxy, none of which would be on the chips or solder connections.

Silver solder? Any particular kind? What kind and gauge of wire is really good quality to use?

you know what would be nice that i haven't seen yet on youtube or any where else... a step by step video on how to solder and install a dna 30 chip using the hana modz box from start to finish. there is a video on how to wire it and what to solder but he doesn't get in depth (basically just shows him soldering from far away so u cant even tell what he's wiring to) and just skipped the part with the buttons and 510 and installing it in a box.

So I just stumbled upon this from eciggity.com and am seriously considering canceling my order for the DNA30 I paid for at elev8vape and buying that instead... I dunno tho

What's the round thing on the top that isn't the 510 connector?

It looks like it could be the battery cover.
The 50 watt version is $128 and it sounds like the chip comes froms YIHI who made the SX350 - if that's the case then this will be a awesome mod.
I used the SX350 on the last mod I made - the chipset beats the dna hands down in my opinion.

*edit*

It's 20 amp also - and the round thing next to the atty connection is a light touch firing button - this sounds amazing.

That little circle on the top of the sx mod is a touch sensor... Not sure what it does.

On eciggity, I believe it's a typo on the chip... I went to YiHi's site and it's supposed to be 350

The SX350 chip has a different form factor, this is more akin to the shape of the DNA - this is a new chip with a higher amp rating.
I don't think this looks cheap and I applaud this new generation of Chinese manufacturer, it's an original device and not a clone - the buttons are steel and the case is aluminum.

My only issue is that the box is 100mm high, this is probably to necessitate the light touch fire button - still a nice looking device;
