well got my green replacement in from illvapes and i have to say im loving the new sandblasted powder coat look, it hits like a champ. i read on cloupors fb that there not going to be doing anymore green and orange so i guessed i lucked out and got this one, before i even put in a battery i opened the back to find still a healthy amount of hot glue, had to remove some of that to let it breath a little. they were certainly generous with the epoxy as there is now a thin layer over the entire board, my magma doesn't sit completely flushed but its straight and barely hovers above the recessed cup. a couple of blotches in the front of uneven powder coating but its not that noticeable, no burs or scratches anywhere like the version 2 but the up wattage button sits a tiny bit crooked although its still solid. i cant say enough good things about this powder coat look though, almost makes me sad im gonna cover it with a jwrap. vaping a .06 ohm dual coil at 26.5 watts but probably gonna rebuild to a 1.2 in a bit. well see how this one holds up, haven't heard of anyone having problems with the version 3 so im optimistic...

Is the sandblasting the rigid curved grooved texture like I had on my video?

I bet if you were in my shoes you would think differently , when i say i have to scrape by i mean it , thats just my situation , would i like to buy one , of course but i have more important things, ( food for example) that i tend to prefer over electronics but thats subject to change.

Now if i get promoted to (Senior Mens room attendant ) i will be in excellent shape have my box mod in no time.


If anyones wondering i am joking , i always thought 'Mens room attendant' was funny , saw a skit with Kevin Nealon and Harvey Keitel on SNL which cracked me up and yes, my humor can be over the top weird .

its not, its definitely a powder coating. it almost got a metallic sparkle to it, it definitely deals better with scratches then the other version... they said there gonna start doing this now to there clones instead of the other version

The original one I got from wetvapes looks like ....... seems more like a paint than a dye. I just got my last one (blue) and I think its what you are talking about. Looks like a metallic sandgrain type effect. Its definitely the best looking

I bought 3 all work great first 2 were version ones 3rd one is the updated version all three I had for weeks with the only issue is the 2 clicks occasionly from sleep mode. They rock I might be one of the lucky ones but I doubt it these are solid . Get one or if ur really hard up

I'm using Panasonic pds 2900 mah they have 10 amp limit, my builds are
.9 to 1.2 and I rarely go past 22 watts so the amp limits fine for me. I can get a
Full day vape off them
