I got 2 316ss from FC that came today, another 304ss from FC and a black 316ss from FT on the way.

I have them on my VS DNA40 and rDNA40. So far, I like them but I've only had them a few hours. Flavor is better than the KF4 but it also goes thru juice faster. I wicked one with a bit more rayon than the other to see if it makes a difference but they're both well saturated and vaping great.

Thanks for sharing.. Is 304 grade better than 316?

Has Tobecco release their clone yet? I haven't checked but I would imagine it is gonna be pretty good since the V4 was a good clone.
I wouldn't go by previous clones. EHpro had the best KFL+ but their KF4 wasn't so great. Tobeco had some really disappointing clones in the past but their KF4 is one of the best. The KM3 isn't as complicated so I don't think you can go wrong with any of them although there are some really cheap ones (price-wise) coming out that I wouldn't trust.

316ss is a better grade but it doesn't really matter with an atomizer. All my KF4's are 304ss but one and that one sucks so it's collecting dust. The only reason I ordered the 316ss KM3 was because it was the first one available to order. When the 304ss showed up with no delay, I ordered one.

I just ordered a Kayfun Mini v3 off of Fasttech last night. Last weekend, I got really drunk and lost my iStick 20 and cheap Kayfun v2/3? clone with one of those bell caps at the bar. Thing is, I already knew it was gonna be one of those nights, hence why I brought something cheap with me just in case. I hope this will be a nice little upgrade! I still mouth to lung so it's always good to have extra Kayfuns around!

I still have 2 older Kayfun mini clones sitting around... I might clean them off and use them in the meanwhile since my 6mg juice with the lung hitter tanks are kicking my .....

What's everyone using in their KM3's? Currently I'm using 30g kanthal wrapped evenly at 2.5mm id wicked with Japanese cotton. Want to try all sizes just to see what's best. Loving how easy these are to use.

I've only been using this Japanese cotton for a few months now and i really like it. How tight should it be when I slide it in my coil? I've been keeping it loose so far and it works. With rayon I've always used a lot more.

Ricks, I use Japanese cotton in mine and I do a tight/snug wick in a 3mm ID coil. I am running at 0.94 ohm and about 15-16 watts. Nice warm vape. I do trim some of the wick side edges after cutting the length to just hit the bottom of the deck when it is in place. Wicking a 3mm coil is a fair amount of cotton, but I want it tight in the coil to reduce popping...BUT I don't want so much cotton on the tails to block airflow in that little chamber so I trim the edges a bit.

I've tried a number of builds, so far my favorite is 3mm 26g SS @ around .7 ohms.

As for which one is better no idea, but the 316SS I've got from Fasttech is pretty much perfect, can't see how it could get better, smooth threads, nice and tight, no problems at all.

As for Tobeco, I've purchased about 20 different Tobeco products over the last months. I've not been let down at all. I expect the KFM3 from them will be good, not willing to spend the $25 I've seen it for, waiting for a more reasonably priced seller. I expect it will be good, but again, I can't really see what could be improved upon with the FT 316L version.
