The authentics will always be over priced. Look at the this kayfun mini V3 clone that cost $15 and the authentic is $100... Clones will always be available because these authentic makers are too greedy. Research and development is just not that expensive.

The v3 mini is one of the exceptions.

Those are not high end like Kayfun and Gems.

These are all popular tanks people are buying today, all authentic and all very reasonably priced!
They are a mix of RTA's and sub ohm tanks still all poplar right now
There are some exceptions like I stated before, for the most part vape gear is cheeper now than it was 2 years ago! Fact!
We are seen less and less clones to also a Fact!
The vape gear game moves fast, this is what is happening now

In all honesty, sometimes it pays off.

My own example: wanted the erlkonigin but didn't want to shell out 127€. No clones were appearing so I waited more. I then ended getting the erlprinz (auth, same as erlkonigin without the sanded finish) and the auth erlkonigin Nano kit. In the end it cost me almost 90€

That was on October, 15th 2014. I'm using that atty 24/7 since then. The original pmma tank held for over a year even showing multiple cracks (hard menthol user). The fasttech tanks (plastic) that I tried, wouldn't hold over a week before cracking / melting. I finally solved my issue buying glass Orchid tanks. Perfect replacement in glass. No cracking anymore.

I don't know if one of those clones of the erlk would have be able to withstand the abuse I gave (and still give) my erlprinz. My center post insulator is starting to show wear but it's still working nice. Not a drop of pitting or rust anywhere.

If I consider the amount of juice I've put through it, the cost of ownership has been diminute.

I got my notice last night that my Mini has shipped from 3f. Now the week wait for it to show up. Well at least that has been about the norm from their ship time to my door step. Not really sure what i will do with a 2ml tank, but it looks fun and for 15 it was hard to pass up.

Just got my 'shipped' notice from FT! I think the 2ml will work fine at my studio. I can actually vape at my desk. I can hook the tank up to some kind of IV bottle and keep it feeding!

(Of course I will be vaping with a Mac computer in front of me, doing high-end graphics on the best machine for that!)

I don't think an IV would maintain the required negative pressure in the tank
