Especially when it's coming from someone who didn't even pay for his authentic. And we are the immoral ones... Yeah...

I believe he bought his KM3 at a local vape shop in Canada. But it does seem like he gets a lot of free vape gear.

In the 'for what it's worth' category, he bought his second one. (Maybe.) His first one came from SM.

It's really sad how some people are in the other thread. It is a mad house there. This thread is perfect. You can talk about either one in here(is that OK KTMRider?). I really hope these clones are EXACTLY the same quaulity, looks and vape as the authentic ones. Just like the KF4's were...
The only thing I ask is that everyone is civil with their discussions/comments.

While I'm really happy with my Tobeco KF4's, I would've been really ...... if I paid $180 for each one. For under $20, I'm ok with crimping the afc to get a stable resistance. This isn't a flaw with the clone but the original design. I can say that I'll probably not buy an authentic KM3 because of the capacity but I have 3 clones in-coming to try out. I'll probably give one to my sister.

I understand the argument on both sides but I'm sick of reading the bickering and name calling. At the end of the day, we're all here to get off and stay off cigarettes.

In the famous words of Mr. King (no, the other one...) : Can't we all just get along?

Yes, I also appreciate the friendliness and open minded, friendly attitude of people posting in this thread.

But you need to consider there is no "one clone", there are many. All differ from each other, depending on the cloning factory. As to the K4... I tested more than 10 different K4 clones. 2 of them where really good and would perform like the original, only by replacing the Teflon- and O-rings. (But the other 8 where crap..)

And we have the same situation with the V3 right now. Even the first two ones available from FT come from different producers/factorys. Now, let's see what Focal delivers... their pic displays an original, so who knows what to expect....

It's rare that I have my morality called into question and since buying my first clone and seeing what's been going on in the other thread it made me do some thinking.I have never needed or wanted to buy a clone because I fortunately was able to buy authentic Vape gear in my price range.Cheap. After hearing so many people rave about these tanks I was curious and since I really cant afford the authentic I went with a clone. Here's my opinion. If these clone companies can produce and sell almost exact copies of the real device and sell it at these incredibly low prices it leads me to believe that SM is gouging it's customers. How moral is that? I do understand that they also incurred the costs of development but they get there beta testing done for free by us.They can sell their items for whatever they want because there will always be people who want to use products as some sort of status symbol.I am all for supporting companies authentic products but if a company is going to Jack up its profit margin to what are imo unreasonable levels I have no qualms about buying the clone.Jm2c

That may be the case. Or it may be that the cost of machining and production in Germany is so much higher than in China that their choice is limited to high prices verses moving their production to Asia.

Remember that none of the Euro based producers initially intended to mass produce. These products were all originally conceived as a run of maybe a couple hundred, not many tens of thousands.

They can sell their items for whatever they want because there will always be people who want to use products as some sort of status symbol.
That is also the case. I find it a bit obnoxious. Others find it ego-satisfying and find pride in their conspicuous consumption. To each their own. We all turn into dust in the end.

Sorry to jump into this great thread, but this looks like a great place to pick some very experienced minds. I have only been vaping a couple months so I don't know much.
I'm looking for a single coil rta that is for MTL and provide great flavor in the 1.5 +/- range and also a rda for flavor tasting.
I currently have 2 nautilus mini's and sometime the coils are just not right, so looking to upgrade.
It appears this KFm3 (or maybe a different one) good introduction for me to start building my own coils. All the different models is quite confusing at times.
If I am wrong please correct me.
Also I have not ordered direct from any of the china vendors and realize shipping will take some time so not a problem there vs the cost saving. I'm thinking FT is my best option (?).

If I select a model and post it here, would it be possible to get some input on them and suggestions for misc. parts that I might need to make it a better experience (like buy these o-rings, or not to buy that one etc).
Again sorry to bust in, but great thread going and would like to follow it as it develops.
Thank you for your time.
