Oh didn't know we were in the presence of a mechanical genius. :)Very cool. How much liquid does it hold?

I'm guessing somewhere around 4ml, but have not yet measured.

?? why the link to the 5-pawns tank?

Mistake on my part, was going back through my order history to find the SKU of the tank I purchased with the extension, just didn't look close enough. Now corrected.

Nah, I like my tanks as short as possible to preserve that strong throat hit I love so much.

Don't want or need, flavor is my priority, that said I prefer it in its current length as well, I'd probably even try out a nano version. But is nothing wrong with having choices and information, hence my posting it. I could have saved myself some time and energy and not bothered posting it, but then if everybody did the same the forums would be a pretty quiet place.

Nothing wrong with providing info as you did for the benefit of everyone here!! I was doing the same for the benefit of those who like their throat hit. BTW the nano version happens to be my favorite. So is the 5Pawns.

Let us know what you think of them - from the perspective of a KM3 flavor chaser/enthusiast. When do you expect your Merlins?

I've been watching that thread too.

Yeah. Been eying this one for a long time. Waiting for a few reviews before I pull the trigger, but it's looking mighty good so far.

I was ready to buy a K5, but with its dramatically increased airflow, I don't think I'll be getting one before SM offers an airflow reducer (like the one Merlin comes with). ;)

I am convinced much of the gurgling coming from the air hole is the result of condensation, not from the wick leaking into the hole. To see if I was right, I started releasing the button slightly before the end of my puff. No more gurgling - for me at least.

I will say this about the Mini v3 Plus, it is crazy forgiving for nOObs to RTAs.

All the coils I've rebuilt so far was my Turbo Evods and GS Airs. I accidentally wound my first mini v3 coil with 32 gauge Kanthal. Oops. 3.2 ohms. What the heck I thought, lets see what happens. At first I had a pretty massive juice leak, I think out of the air holes but I guess that was nOOb operator error. I cleaned it up and all is ok now. I prefer a cooler vape and even with this way too high coil it still vapes pretty well.

I've already got another coil wound from the thickest I have 30 gauge at 7 wraps at 2mm. That will probably ready higher than my 1.5 preferred but if the 3.2 vapes this good even a 1.8-2.0 ohm should do pretty well too.

I will say that capturing the coil legs is At Least as fiddly as rebuilding the GS Air coils though.

I would appreciate it very much if someone who has cut capture grooves into the deck would show a pic of them. I assume that's a Dremel job, right?
