Just got my 3 kfms from FT. I had a big order so some mods delayed shipping but no biggie. Wasn't in a rush.

One of the 3 had a broken o ring at the base. Easy fix with the o rings in the baggie. 2 of the 3 had loose nuts securing the deck. Easy fix. Zero complaints. I built 2 using 2.5mm 28g 7 wrap coils. Between 1.2-1.3 ohms and organic cotton.

I bought them for my wife but I'm using one for fun. I must say that it vapes fantastic and was really easy to coil and wick. I'm very interested in the 22.5mm diameter version that holds 3.2mls. Thats more my size and fits nice on a Pico. I plan on buying 5 of those and 5 more minis + parts before the end of the month.
I'd give the mini clones that I got an 8 out of 10. Thin glass tank and cheap o rings are the only reason I wouldn't go 10 out of 10 for a cheap clone.

Not sure you can find a better single coil rta with solid features for the price anywhere.

I just got my two Plus' from FT in Tuesday (one for a friend) and I love it. The two mini's ( one for same friend) had a small shipping delay but got to me Wednsday! I also think the Plus has a tiny bit better airflow (IMHO) than the mini, but exceptional MTL as one could ever hope for and a lot simpler than the V4 ( which I do love as well).

Ken, most of the people here bought the $18 KMV3 Plus--it was the first one FT carried and it got good reviews. You can also get a spare glass tank for this model. The $20 something one is newer and even fatter (24 mm diam per FT). I suggest you read the discussions/reviews on FT. That's all I know.

Can I ask the members here which version of the FT Mini V3 Pluses they have tried. I honestly can not see much difference in the specs between the cheaper one and the dearer one, so would be good to know if there is a "better one"
Many Thanks.

@Katdarling and I have been pretty lucky with most, except for with this one.
$11.82 Kayfun Mini V3 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 2ml / 316 stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

After she wrestled endlessly to get free replacement bases from them, for both of ours, only hers is working (and not without issues). I'm using the drip tip. The rest of the tank, plus both bases, are bagged for parts.

In other words, I can't highly recommend it. :|

I like the drip tip.

@Katya and DP. Many thanks. very useful info. I have the V3 but its is more trouble than it is worth-bad build, and given up with getting a replacement. Would really like a "Plus" so dont want to make another mistake.
Thanks again for the info.

We went with the higher priced Plus models ($18.xx), and they've been wonderful so far. I've got a few more on the way, so can update you after they cross the Pacific.

I have a hunch this has been answered in the thread already but saving my eyes from scanning 100's of pages...

I'm getting flooding and juice out of the airflow holes when top filling the minis. As far as I can tell the JFC is fully closed but I can't think of any other place it's leaking from so it must be that.

It's happened with both of the 2 I built yesterday. Mine is pretty hard to turn to close the JFC. I had to replace the lower o ring because it was broken when I got it. I think the diameter is a little too large so I'm going to swap it again.

However, my wife's turns easily and has the original o ring. Any tips would be appreciated.

I bought 2 of these ($13.61 Kayfun Mini V3 Plus Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3.5ml / stainless steel + glass / 24mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping) and they are great so far. But I am currently using Merlin RTA's and the Kayfuns are sitting pretty in my stash draw.

It has to be the o-rings making it leak when filling. Take the o-rings off your wifes base and try to match them up.

Hers leaked too and has the stock o ring but Im sure its not a complicated fix either way. I'm going to break mine down right now and figure it out.

So after researching three Kayfun v3 plus, these are the differences I noticed. The $18 has logo, ss 510 center pin (does it have notches on juice fill screw for no flooding?) The $13 has chromed brass center pin and apparently no anti flood notch on juice fill screw. The $20 v1.5 has 3.2ml capacity and 22.5mm OD base. If anyone could verify some of this I would appreciate it. Also which center pin is best, stainless steel or the chromed brass? Do these already come with peek insulator, one reviewer mentioned "Swapped out the insulator for peek version - SKU 4416301"
Thanks

Well...I've been messing around with the o-rings and I'm still having trouble with JFC. It's very tight and hard to turn (especially getting it closed). Any advice?

If you only have the spares that came with it..it sounds like you are using one that is too fat..Like the one that was installed..which is wrong sized..

I use a 1mm (cs) x 9mm (id) with good results..

Try the thinner DIA one but slightly larger ID..and make sure you get it to the bottom of the threads of the base ad not in the juice channel..

Hope that helps..
