I have one. It works great. No leaking, consumes juice fast, easy to fill. I filed a couple of flat spots on the top piece to let pressure escape when filling. The draw is excellent for MTL vaping, similar to a Taifun GT II with 3 holes open. I think the V5 would be too airy for me. I would have to put a mesh tube in a V5 air tube to make it good for MTL.
I like it so much that I ordered 2 more for my vapocalypse stash. I also ordered spare glass $2.25 Replacement Glass Tank for Sigelei Moonshot RDTA Atomizer (5-Pack) 5-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping . The fasttech forum and my own measurements show they should fit. I will know in a couple of weeks when they arrive.

One of the 3 kayfun v3m's refused to behave and leaked when refilling. I did all the o-ring possibilities so I assume it's a tolerance issue with JFC. However, if I close the JFC with the tank upside down > top fill > turn upside down again > open JFC then flip right side up it solves the problem. Not even a gurgle let alone a leak.

Anyone who has an unruly v3m should give this a shot and see if it solves leaking upon refill.

I'm probably going to order the V5 soon but might wait for the reduced size version that I'm sure China will pump out. One thing I don't like about my 3.1 is the height (82mm). The V5 is 76mm so not much shorter. I tend to like my tanks shorter than 65mm whenever possible.

Was it pretty clean or did it have a lot of machine oil?

Just got a response from Tobeco.

mini kayfun v3 SS price:
1-50pcs:13usd
51-300pcs:12usd
301pcs+:11usd

Black +1usd.

Shipping on 10 KF5 was $35 and $10 for paypal fees. So final price to your door would come out to about $20-$22. $25 for priority mail. Probably not worth it for most.

The Focalecig version is very good. I have 2 of them and I haven't had any issues with them. Prices have dropped from when I ordered mine ($17 ea) to just over $10 ea. Not sure if it's the same mfg. Mine came with logos but now the pics are w/o logos.

In my experience, it's always a good idea to 'wash the China' off. Some of my KFs have needed a rinse and repeat, actually.

Do you just let it soak or what do you do?
I think I started the Dawn wash method :D.

Dawn is an excellent degreaser for more than just dishes. I usually disassemble an atomizer in a small bowl. I run the hot tap water until it's really, really hot. I put a drop or 2 of Dawn in the bowl and fill it with hot water. I stir it around with a spoon because it's usually too hot to keep my fingers in there (and I'm very tolerant of pain). After about 30 sec to a minute, I run hot water in the bowl until all the soap is gone.

If you're still getting machine oil taste/smell, take off all the o-rings and wash. Maybe I'm not that sensitive but I've never had to do that.

I don't use Dawn but I do use VERY hot water and whollllllllllllllle bunch of soap. I mix it around then let it soak (til I remember that I left it there).

I rinse the hell out of all the parts (in a strainer), then I do a sniff test. If I can still smell that machine oil, I start over.

Note to self: get some Dawn.

Or some Tony Orlando and Dawn.
