I have also problem with small leaking-seepage from afc holes. tried everything from less to more cotton and from 12-20watts 1.3-1.8ohm etc. When i remove the afc ring and vape without it leaking stops and no problem after many days. When i put it back and vape some hours when i remove it again i see liquid (small amount) in every hole....

I would try swapping out all the orings on the base :)

Sounds vacuum related to me.

vacuum related?

Yes, Draw/Vacuum are what cause the juice to flow.

It sounds as though when you remove the air control ring, you are lessening the vacuum/fluid flow.

Perhaps carbing your draw would help.

Just guessing, Jim

so you mean that without afc (i have all holes uncovered) the fluid flow is reduced? what is the reason you think? more smooth inhalation?

Yes, and not so much smother but less vacuum on tank.

If my tank becomes gurglie, I carb the draw until cleared.

so the solution you think is to vape smoother somehow or more gentle? i ll try it....in the meanwhile i closed all other holes with tape (like the afc does) and in this case no leak...weird....

edit: it leaks again...with the holes closed with tape.....

When wicking make sure there is bridge on the wick. Between the coil area and when it goes into the juice chamber. This solved my minimal leakage. The wick should be raised a bit and then go into the juice holes.

In other news I just got my second one , this time from tobeco. The SJMY is definitely better.

Yes, it sounds like you will have to slow your draw.

Hope it works!

I find the one from SJMY to be much smoother on the threads.

I only have one of each to compare to each other, but based on those I have to agree with mav.

The biggest advantage of it for me is that with the SJMY I can just put it together and tighten everything down, and then turn it the other way to open the JFC.

Sometimes when I do that with the Tobeco I'm unscrewing the tank instead of opening up the JFC

In all other aspects they perform equally for me though.
