I was wondering how you are getting on with your slight leakage problem? If it helps after totally stripping down two of my Tobeco's and replacing all o rings i found on both the 5 was the wrong size.It was smaller, should be 7 *1.5 and it was 5*1.5.
I noticed that it was a bit deficient when I had part # 6 out. It pretty much just seals air, it is something to consider I suppose.
It didn't have much "drag" on assembly.
Edit: Every time that I change #10 & 11 the leaking (minor) stops for a couple of weeks.

I have some 7.1 x 1.6 and some 7.5 x 1.5 but no 7 x 1.5......LOL

I have had no leaking even with that 5 the wrong size but wanted to change all my o rings anyway.I have only vaped the SXK since changing them.I built it to the different sizes you quoted and it is vaping fine. One weird thing is i only need to open the jfc 1 and a quarter turns now. Before i was at about 3 turns.

Hi guys! I'm following this thread for a while.

I've ordered kayfun v5 Mini, SXK version from FT. It should hit my doors by the end of next week if I'm lucky.

This is my first Kayfun ever. I see that you guys are very excited about your Kayfuns, so little of that mojo stuck on me as well.

I'm wondering what is your favorite MTL wire/coil for this baby. Thanks.

Thank you Mike.

@dwcraig1 Last night i had a really little bit of seeping on the SXK right above the air flow ring.A very small amount. If i got this right you said on the deck#8 =12*1 #10=12*1 #11=11*1 then topcap# 22=12*1.Well i rebuilt #8=11*1 #10=11*1 #11=11*1 then topcap #22=11*1.Not a hint of a seep now.Just something to think about.

A thing of beauty @OhTheAgony !

I just tried a different build out.3 mm id SS 316L 28 ga, 12 wraps contact coil,1.2 ohm 12.5 Watts.Using it in power mode and the tastiest vape i have had yet!
Won't that take a long time to ramp up at that wattage?

@OhTheAgony, which version do you have?

The black one is a Tobeco, the silver one is a SJMY with a separately bought barrel tank (ups the capacity to 6ml). I also have a SXK mini but that one's already retired (it wont stop leaking, but it's also too hot for me much like the Serpent mini, so I haven't tried to solve the leakage very hard).

I recommend the SJMY, it's in a league of it's own in terms of fit & finish as well as performance & flavor. I'm about to retire my Tobeco and replace it with another SJMY even though I hate to break up the black on black.

Everyone here seems real content with their Tobeco clones though, so it's possible I just got a bad one, idk. The darned thing just won't wick properly most of the time no matter what I try. I'll look in to it some more though, perhaps a little play time with a Dremel can fix it.

I want to get a good screwdriver for the deck screws. Does anybody have any idea what size screwdriver for a good fit? Also any recommendations for a good quality one. Thank you for any help.
I just use a little jewelers flat head. It's wide enough to go across the x on a phillips head screw, & doesn't strip the corners in the center of the x. It seems the phillips head screwdrivers never fot right & strip those corners. But not a flat head.

28g kanthall or SS. 2.5mm id. 7/8 wraps for 1.3 ohms kanthall, or 9/10 for 1.1 SS. I use a coiler, so the wraps don't real tight to the rod with 28g but would with maybe 26 guage.
