Well that didn't work for me for whatever the reason.
Just got the SXK version from fast tech. No logo, no SXK on inside of deck as some pics show.
Machining is pretty perfect. Top cap fits on and turns very smooth. No burrs. Vapes great with a 3mm ID Tigerwire coil at 0.52 ohms, 30 watts. Wide open AFC is restricted lung hit. Nice flavor. No leaks. Just works as supposed to. Easy coil

Will the AFC close tight enough for a true MTL vaper?
Probably not for most MTL vapers.
I just built my SXK version from FT and I cannot recommend it. The Angelcigs version is better. The Tobecos are awesome.
My sxk version FINALLY shipped from focal after 3+ weeks. I can't ever remember waiting that long for a product to be shipped by any vendor of any kind... Ecig or otherwise.

I'm more than a bit curious as why mine has the quality of something made by SM and your seems sub-par. I really hadn't planned on getting a 2nd K5 (want another Bellus maybe) but my curiosity got the best of me so I ordered another SXK K5 from FT. I'm aware that yours and mine probably came from a different shipment.
Hard to explain. I usually look pretty closely at these clone atomizers. I didn't have huge expectations from the AC clone but it's not too bad. Threads were very smooth and machining was pretty good. There were some sharp edges when handling it, most notably the juice holes were very sharp. Handling the SXK, I noticed more sharp edges. I don't remember having any sharp edges on any of the 4 Tobecos I've handled and built. There is noticeable marks on the flats of the top nut cap like the cnc machine was chattering while milling the part. The edges on the glass was also rough and not flame polished like on the Tobecos or AC. This caused an issue when taking it apart for cleaning.
Since it didn't have any logos, I swapped the drip tip with the AC clone so I have a visual point of reference and don't have to hold the atomizer and turn the mod. I've only had about 1/2 tank thru it so far and it vapes like the others. Resistance is stable and juice flow works fine.
Overall, I think it's pretty hard to screw up cloning this or the KM3. I have to nitpick to find things to differentiate the 3 I have but I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.
I initially ordered the SXK with logos from 3fvape but since it doesn't ship for 3-8 days, I was 4 days in when I found this thread & at the time people were saying the SJMJ clone was recommended so I emailed 3fvape & they were wonderful they waived the extra $.99 cost & switched & shipped the SJMJ one in 24 hours! Surprising customer service they only hoped I would shop with them in the future. I can highly recommend shopping with them. I also ordered a spare glass tank & a red drip tip adaptor for the drip tip.
Perhaps I should have ordered another brand for a better comparion.
No, I'll stay with it, but ordering another from somewhere else is still an option.
