Yep and that is definitely cheaper then the authentic at 7.95 but it's quartz still probably break just as good when it hits the ground.
I on the other hand, Have the Replacement Glass Curse... (Mini V3)

Got 2 auth spares, and 3 auth tanks, further I have dropped my all day carry with glass tank more times than I can count.

And it Still hasn't broken.

I have never had that happen I have 5 M's 2 ML's 2Q's I love them. Have never run my tank dry though and I don't use a dripper. I always use a temp lower then the scorching point of cotton I think normally about 420. But that's just me some people think the DNA board is the best some think the YiHi is. I'm in the YiHi camp but have only had 1 DNA and that was a very poor example. It was when VS first came out with the DNA40 and I believe the min resistance was .1 and nickel was the only wire and you couldn't lock the resistance. That was a PITA. Have thought about getting 1 but went with more SX's for Vapocolypse.
Some people are yihi or Evolv. I'm personally in the Evolv camp, I've got several dna200/dna40/dna30/dna20 mods... I've also got sx mini m and sx mini ml, I like the screens in the yihi, but overall the dna is my board of choice.

The dna40 didn't shine the way the dna200 does. If your so inclined, I'd strongly suggest picking up a dna200 or DNA75 mod and give it a shot. Escribe makes TC so awesome. I've been using TC exclusively since I got my first dna40, haven't built a kanthal coil in quite a while. I've used ni200, Ti, SS316, all with good results in TC. Though I personally don't taste any difference in the wires themselves, others have?

Either way, not making a yihi vs Evolv debate, but you sound like a serious vaper, the dna200 boards (or escribe compatible boards) are awesome imho.

Vape on!

I had a SX Mini M and a Boxer with the SX350j. I had to lower the temps to 380°F so it wouldn't burn but then it also didn't give much vapor. Same builds/atomizers worked great on my DNA mods.

As far as the glass, the FT version seems to be well made and finished. The glass on my SXK had sharp edges and wasn't polished. When I tried to take it apart to clean, the o-rings were stuck to the glass. The Tobeco spare glass I got were well made too.

I bought 10 spare glass for my KF4's and never broke 1. I wasn't planning on getting any for the KM3 or KF5 but after reading a few guys breaking their KF5 glass, I ordered a few and threw in some KM3 glass while I was at it.

Yeah that V4 was a good design for not getting a broken glass this one not so much. Just like my STM's great design for not breaking the glass. I've got at least 10 spares for that and the only one I ever broke was one I dropped in the sink when I had it apart cleaning it.

How can the glass design of the V5 be any different than the V4?

They both compress the glass between stainless steel insulated and sealed with orings...

I received my Tobeco K5 today, seems top notch quality with one exception.
As KTM said o-ring #21 is perhaps larger than on other models. It's a pretty tight fit on the chimney tube (#16), might get torn easily. It would be easy enough to remove the sharp edge on the end of the tube or just change the o-ring as necessary.

I don't think I've ever broken a glass section on any atomizer.

The v5 is longer and more exposed.

It's slightly annoying but I haven't pinched one yet. The one installed from the factory were pinched in 3 of 4 I built.

I know when they firrst came out with the 350J it was off on the TCR's for temp mode and it took them a couple of upgrades but they finally got it right. I was using Ti at the time and it was better to use Ni200 mode and use the offset for the temp but they finally hit Ti right on. The 350J has a lot harder time maintaining temp then the V2 and this 450 board I don't know what they did but normally 2 18650's in series will give you less total power then 2 18650's would in a single battery like the ML but I am getting 2 1/2 times the total number of joules that I do on the ML. They changed something in it that makes it more efficient. I really like it.

I wasted enough time and money on Yihi chips so I have no interest in them. I also didn't like their warranty policies. Basically like most insurance companies, they'll use every excuse to not uphold their warranty. In the end, it's a poorly made Chinese board that they're charging a premium for that's unwarranted for the (lack of) performance.

Received my Tobeco today too. I'm a 47 year old former truck driver who is quite handy with tools, fixing just about anything.....point is I'm no weakling, and it took everything I had with rubber jar grips on my screw drivers to get the connector pin and one of the deck screws loose . Seems one of the deck screw holes isn't threaded all the way. I received 5 spare screws and tried all of them, but the only one I could get down far enough to grab my 28awg kanthal was the one that came one it. Since it's been reported they're not great quality, and since I don't need long screws for thicker wire, does anyone know where I can get higher quality screws that are shorter? Or am I gonna have to deal with a return with eciggity?

Other than that, loved building a simple 28g kanthal, 3mm ID, 1.6ohm coil with KGD on it. It's nice. It's my first kayfun/clone. Oh, and not crazy about the preset air flow settings. 3 is too tight....4 too loose. If it doesn't leak/seep (good so far), this thing would be better with fully adjustable airflow. Guess they're holding that back for v6 :sneaky:. Can't give us everything. We wouldn't need to buy the next release.

I'd return it based on one hole not being threaded all the way but if it doesnt impede the use of it, thats your decision.

Define long though, the ones i got with my SXK were short, i replaced them with the long ones in spares. Short ones werent high enough to pass the 22 gauge 316L via the side entry method - under screw head and inner side of the side guides.

My KF5 Tobeco WAS scheduled to arrive today...seems the USPS had another plan. Starting to get that feeling that this won't be a smooth experience. And I paid for priority shipping.:grr::facepalm:

Fasttech SXK arrived yesterday. Clean, very clean -- no machine oil. Too eager to build to disassemble and inspect. No SXK markings/sticker on the box. Ni200 coil build with 3.5mm ID for .17 ohms and wicked with cc rayon. Fantastic flavor and vape. Love the wide-open airflow with juice flow at 2.5 turns. Just fantastic.

I had wicking/juice flow issues on the Hurricanes after a few tanks but this kayfun just keeps rolling. Thought to rewick or clean after the second tank, but there was no reason.

Still waiting SJMY V5 and a couple SXK V3 Minis (for mobile use). However, as it stands, this could be a/the winning tank for the vapocalypse.
