Let me start with this:
SXK Kayfun V5 // unbranded vs. branded // comparison – daisychainvaper
I received my 2nd FT SXK kK5 yesterday, bought it at the time to see if there was a difference in quality from my 1st run one, there was not.
I really wasn't expecting to like the K5 all that much but the more I use one the more I like them. There seems to be the possibility that my Bellus' might get side lined. While overall performance is greater with a dual coiled Bellus the K5 is drawing me to it.....LOL

I use device monitor to get my wicking right, here I'm not pleased with it.

Brought out the Dremel and increased the juice feed holes on the deck just a bit.

Got the black version from FT last night 5086700. Should have read reviews. Resistance all over the place and fires only intermittently. Tore it all the way down cleaned and checked for shorts. Didn't help. Thinking it may have something to due with black finish as some have suggested. Total fail piece. Do NOT purchase unless you like headaches heh

Got my SS and Black tobecos. Absolutely flawless! I haven't been this pleased concerning a tank in a long time and at last count I had 22. This thing is easy to build and wick. The flavor is outstanding. I'm pulling the trigger on 2 more.

Well I got my first Tobeco built and I can't really tell the diff between it and the authentic other then Oring #21 is bigger and you have to kind of push the filler cap on to get it to thread. I'm also wondering if the juice control at 1 turn is putting enough juice in like the authentic. Seems like less. Might replace all the Orings with authentic.

If you look at the end of the chimney where it starts into the top cap's o-ring I think you will find the edge pretty square. On the Tobeco I got I smoothed that sharp edge by using a piece of sand paper...a little twisty action being careful to not mar the sealing surface of the tube.

Well the more I vape on the Tobeco the more it is the same using 1 full turn on the JC and vaping nicely but I see what you mean about the #21 Oring KTM it is definately fatter then the authentic I think some of the others are also but I have 3 authentic spares kits coming so will take care of that when the time comes otherwise I am amazed at the quality. I have 1 more to build and think I might get a couple more. Just washed them in hot water from the tap really weren't dirty at all. Checked all the holes and they were all clean. Definately a good find thanks @KTMRider

OK I'll give that a try but like I said they are definately fatter then the authentics they do fit snuggly though.

My K5 styled drip tips from FT will arrive today. I ordered them to put on my 3 Bellus'. But.... was I smart enough to order both black and stainless to match my tanks.........................................NO
Oh no! The set I ordered didn't arrive yet, maybe Monday. That kit came with both black & stainless.
