I have a Tobeco V5 and an authentic both on SXmini Q's and they are exactly the same size. Put them side by side and other then the Logo you couldn't tell the diff.
Until you mic em, and determine the materials that they are made of...

Well, You know the Rest.

Actually no I don't. I know that they advertise them as being SS316 instead of 316L What are the other differences in the Tobeco and the kayfun by SM

They do say that some parts could be made of different metal then SS. All I know is they have the same quality of vape.
I just got the kayfun v5 from tobecco, i had problems with the screws how they came stock, wondering if anyone else has this problem? sorry if its been asked before
I have heard that before but I think it was solved by using authentic screws. I really have no problem because I use a single wire SS316L coil 26awg and they worked just fine. I have heard on some of these clones don't remember which one but the holes were not deep enough for the longer screws that are included with the SM spares kits. I just haven't had a reason to try.

Actually, we could be talking about two different things, but on the review i watched i think the screws are not meant to go down all the way. I think they leave a good bit of hanging room to trap huge wire like claptons or something, which normally the small kayfun screws would have trouble doing.

Regardless, i think i mightve found a solution to my problem. someone suggested heating it up and then freezing it.. wish me luck

I just can't believe they would do a fine job of machining, there are some places that look a little rough but not visible unless you take it apart. The threads are fine and all 4 of mine were almost as clean as the real thing. And the standard screws do go all the way down. They were on pretty tight when I first receive them but other then them being a little wiggley they tighten down well on the Tobeco.

And here: 1.5mm CS : The O-Ring Store LLC, We make getting O-Rings easy!
I suggest putting some 12 x 1 mm in your order as well.
Example: 10 x 1 mm is 10 mm ID and 1 mm cross section.
Wow! The master at work! Thanks!

I almost couldn't get mine loose. After that, one of them wouldn't screw down enough to hold my 28g wire without a lot of muscle because the hole wasn't threaded far enough down. The spare screws were worse. I ended up using a Dremel to shorten a screw until I received the the authentic spare parts kit and switched out the screws, using a short screw for the side that was not threaded all the way. Hope that makes sense.

I have one Tobeco that is letting too much juice in even at 1 full turn. Do you think #10 or #11 would cause that?
Possible 11, 10 would be more of outside leak. When I replaced #11 with an 11 the vape changed a bit, I put it in Escribe and sure enough the temp had came up.

Well Maybe I'll try that tomorrow. I can get by with it the rest of the day when the wick gets too wet I close it down some like maybe 1/2 to 3/4 turn and it eventually gets kind of anemic and just open it another 1/4 turn for a while. Maybe it's just me or the flavor I have in that one.
