kf5minxvo.jpg KF5Mini.jpg SXK KF5 Mini arrived earlier this evening. First impression? Excellent. Machining is butter smooth and provides a very flavorful vape. This tank was money well spent. Now, full disclosure, I plopped a 1.2mm MTL kit plug in it cause I prefer a very tight draw. So I never tried the stock draw and cant speak to those who like an airy vape. The size difference for purposes of portability and looks added with excellent flavor will have me ordering one or three more. Comes with a full o-ring kit and a steel replacement tank. A definite hat tip to SXK from me on this one.

If I may ask, where did you get the MTL kit. Because it is to airy for me. But love the tank.

It's not that tall. It's an average size atomizer.

Too be honest it's been a while since I used anything with a capacity over 2ml, I guess that's why it feels so freakishly tall.

The fact that most of my mods are tiny probably doesn't help neither, it's about the same height as my Cuboid mini, lol

Feels the same for me. I'm on a istick pico most of the time. It does flavor very well though. It's living on my stay home cuboid now.

If these were mentioned, I missed it.
Seems like the o-rings that came with the Tobeco are different than the ones in the parts kit (from originvape). Anyone use both? Both work?

Also, two times after filling the tank juice wasn't feeding, giving me dry hits. After closing the JFC, taking off the Topcap, putting the Topcap back on and opening the JFC, all is well. I've had the tank for 2 months and both instances were in the last 2 weeks. Is an old o-ring causing this? All mine are stock and I'm changing #10 and #11 tonight or tomorrow.
I would be interested to know as well if the orings from origin fit.I changed the grub screws in my tobeco and they fit perfect.

I received my black Tobeco version from Spain today:

It's very nice too. I have to give the edge to the SJMY version though, the threads are noticeably smoother on that one which makes it a bit easier/more pleasant to adjust the JFC and screw on the top-cap. I'm sure they will smoothen out in time on the Tobeco though.

The black one came with a small scratch on the base but that can happen I guess. We'll see how the finish holds up over time. Overall I'm really happy with both so far.

I like the looks of that wider tank, if I can find one in stock somewhere I'm gonna try it.

I've always had a thing for the Envy 22 but never actually pulled the trigger on one. How deep is the atty-well on it? I suspect the V5 will stick out quite a bit?

Can't wait to see the two of them together though, please share a pic when they arrive.
The atty well is 45 mm deep. I used to run my 45 mm tall Bellus in there for a flush look. Now, I've got the Griffin in there, and just the top cap (for filling) protrudes.

My black tobeco is 2 months old without a scratch or any sign of wear. :thumb:

That is good to hear

One additional thought on the Envy 22. Do not get it. Get the Envy 22 Plus. It handles more wire types, and uses a replaceable battery.

I don't think I've seen that one yet, thanks, I'll have a look.
