Also, I'm getting what I would call sub-par flavor. I've built and wicked like all of the videos suggest and everyone raves about the flavor but this seems very muted compared to everything else I own. Current build is n80, 26g, nine wrap at 0.8. Running this 18~25 watts and the flavor and vapor are weak. Any higher and i start to dry hit. Feel like I must be doing something wrong but I can't figure this one out.
Yes, and I feel no difference between up and the most open position.
Try twisting two of those wires together before you wrap your coil. Twisted wire is all I use myself, although I prefer titanium1, it really adds a lot of flavor ime.
28g might be better if you have that, just to keep the mass down a bit. But that probably depends on personal preferences.
I've never even seen a video on how to wick these by the way, I just winged it when I first got it but liked the result so much I duplicated that on the black one today. I'm curious how others do it though, time to hit YT I guess.
I just checked and it appears to make much more of a difference on the SJMY version than on the Tobeco somehow, so I'm guessing you have the later?
Too bad. Not sure if there's enough of a difference to tell you to get the SJMY version though, it might still not be airy enough for you. I'm afraid you're gonna have to stick a drill in that air-hole on the deck if you want a significant increase, at your own risk of course

If not for logo, it looks exactly the same as SJMY clone. The same quality of machining, good threads. Do not know yet about leaking (started to use it just yesterday).

1. No logo. Usually I like no logo clones, but for K5 it's must to have to make easier juice flow adjustments.
2. Airflow control ring is a bit wobbly. Not really a big deal, does not affect anything. I just like tightness of SJMY ring a bit better.
vaping quality is exactly the same as for SJMY (I put similar Kanthal coils in both).

NiceI received my black Tobeco version from Spain today:
It's very nice too. I have to give the edge to the SJMY version though, the threads are noticeably smoother on that one which makes it a bit easier/more pleasant to adjust the JFC and screw on the top-cap. I'm sure they will smoothen out in time on the Tobeco though.
The black one came with a small scratch on the base but that can happen I guess. We'll see how the finish holds up over time. Overall I'm really happy with both so far.

I got the eNVy 22 (in red) about 6 months ago, before I even knew they have the removable battery version. FT had the Plus (only in black though) on their Sunday Deals this past Sunday, so I ordered one of those ($31.94 after 10% coupon). Figured I'll use the SS KFv5 on the red one and the black KFv5 on the black Plus.
As if I don't have enough mods already, I've just ordered a SMY SDNA 75w (only had black in stock) to have one with the DNA chip for about $45 after coupon... Good God, I've gone mod crazy!
At 95 mods and 167 atomizers, I can certainly relate...BTW, what is the mod on the right?

A few times, but not because I let it run empty, haha. I generally vape less then 5ml a day so I just top it off once a day.
But I close the JFC for transportation and sometimes the juice won't flow when I open it again until I quickly loosen and close the top-cap. I think @Cirus mentioned having this problem sometimes too.
I use max VG & suspect that's what causing it, no biggie. I vape in TC mode so no risk of burning my cotton

Before I entertained the thought of a Kayfun, I had planned on using a Bellus (got a clone with red glass) with the eNVy 22, as it doesn't have any protrusions (JFC/AFC rings) that stick out to cause it not to fit the atty cage, but I haven't even built that RTA yet.
This FDA deeming BS pushed me toward stock piling equipment (I already have too much juice on hand) for the Vapepocalypse. I think I'm good for the next 10 years with equipment, but shiney-itis has already set in. As I suspected, those Target Minis are so damned adorable, I might not be able to part with one of them, as I can't decide which color I want to keep now.

Damn.. I could've ordered one from Eciggity for 20% off last Friday but I decided to order the Cthulhu V2 instead which was on closeout for $7 cheaper and said Ill get the KF5 later. I had both in my cart but figured I shouldn't blow all my spending money right away.. Only had the Cthulhu since yesterday and Im about to take a hammer to it already.
I grabbed one recently off Ebay. Like the Plus version alot more. They made room for a 23.5mm tank and added a replaceable battery.
Now if we could just get them to combine the features of the Beyond Vape version with the stock it would be a slick lil set-up. I really like finish work BV had done at the factory. Supposedly had some TC changes made to the chip as well...
