Attack on UK vapers by TW

Can I also support Crossbow in that I think he has been an excellent moderator on UKV forum (although not a very active poster there for some time now).

Crossbow, there is no reason to defend yourself. It is a simple connection between the two that seems to be helping he who must not be named, with his (in my opinion) delusional self reassurance. It's far easier to sever the connection than to lose a well made community of over xxxx members.



Trust me, I never knew a single bit of the underlying issues until this morning when I read up and was pointed in the right direction to needle the connections together myself.

Seeing it from an outsider, it is a recipe for disaster for both the industry and all that ECITA stands for. Mixing DV, ECITA, TW trilogy with a neutral territory like UKV, is just going to ruin a great community. Your very SMALL association with UKV is by far enough to make it seem like UKV is involved into the mix (which it is my hopes that it really isnt) therefore fueling the "campaign against the company who can not be named".

If the person in question is... losing the plot (?) as some people have observed unprofessionally, than it could very well be that the person can not see past his or her own delusions and the paranoia is over riding rationality.

I accept that Crossbow feels he has to counter what he's accused of, what I don't accept is that his involvement in UKV has in any way created an atmosphere of bias, that is in the mind of He Who Must Not Be Named aka Panty Hamster, aka Lord Voldemort - he's the one making spurious illogical leaps into unreality.

Having said that, perhaps if Crossbow surrendered his moderation of the site, then that takes the sting out of those allegations. And while we're talking about conflicts of interests, perhaps the admins of ECF ought to consider whether it's right that Lord Voldemort has moderation access anywhere on this site - I know which one represents a greater threat to my peace of mind.

I've been using UKV for a year or so now, and at no time have I ever been moderated or addressed in such a way as to have my mind made up for me or ever felt that I was being pushed in any direction. Virtually all of the purchases I have made for example, have been done as a result of reviews from many multiple sources, that goes for mods, atties, juices etc. We all know who the big players are in this industry when it comes to previews, reviews, hands on pieces, we have our favourites. None of them are major UKV contributors.

So let me explain why I myself use UKV, it'll take all of 50 seconds - I use it to share my experience of devices, ejuices etc with the community, to set up trades, to have a bit of a laugh chatting about general vaping stuff, to purchase mods made by little one man bands. That's it. I never went there out of any anti-TW sentiment, and I have never been coached into feeling that way about that company. On the contrary, I've done more than my fair share of giving a positive assessment of some aspects of business I've had with that company.I have a good head on my shoulders, I wasn't born yesterday and I've been using forums, news sites, bulletin boards and been a member of many other communities for a very long time now. I know my way around.

So how dare Lord Voldemort have the barefaced cheek to make assumptions about the UKV readership. How dare he generalise about us and insult us, and then when all else fails, take our community away from us. His own bad press is entirely of his own making, and if significant loss of business is the result, then that's what you get for behaving in such an alarmingly aggressive, bullying and irrational manner, and crapping all over an entire community as he has done.

The person who is the subject of the criticism on this particular thread, however, is a business owner. A business owner whom is attempting to burn his own customers at the stake. A business owner who seems to forget that the customers in which he's burning at the stake, are the same customers that butter his proverbial bread. Customers don't take to kindly to such antics.

The reason pillbox38 has admin powers is because of his supplier forum here, his powers are limited to just that forum alone and are not global. that's the reason he cannot be added to the ignore list , a quirk of the forum software i'd imagine.

Since i've been vaping openly for over a year now, more and more people have been asking me what my recommendations are for the next step up from a looky-likey would be.

Although, I've not been a customer of TW for over a year, it does not mean that i haven't pointed people in TW's direction since then. However, seeing the way the owner operates, I will therefor point my recommendations elsewhere.

Also, a review is personal opinion & someone's experience of using a product is a valid opinion also.
