now that i think about it, it was more along the lines of a typical tank mod... folks were trying to make a d/t sleeve out of the gear the i06 came with for improving the d/t and MWA fitted the i06 with the orange cap (punched) in a tube of some sort. He was working on a proto type, but don't know what happened. The idea was a better tank than a carto tank... doesn't GG have something like this in their UFS / AVS ?
Do you mean something smaller then the Surge tank? If so can I get a link?

i'm back... got 2 AVA USA attys in yesterday, SR and LR, but still working on my big lipped LR .. these are from KokomoPureVapor or something like that... They are serial numbered 00770 and 00772.

-Closed bottom, 4 holes on the connector...
Not sure i want to try them out yet... i don't like keeping similar attys going at the same time.
I'll probably try the SR, but then again I might just put them on the classies since, imo these are for experimental use for me...i'm not exactly sold on them.

Has anyone compared the big lipped and the USA un lipped ? I missed that... hmm

All of mine with 2 or 4 holes are still hit or miss on every vape I take, still the same old problem of liquid running right through these and out the air hole. in my opinion they still need to make some changes to these Atty's. the very bottom ceramic piece under the one the coil is in needs to be changed out, and either SS Wool type mesh put in there, or crushed up ceramic pieces to help hold the liquid. As is there not worth the coin there charging for them at all, they hit and taste great when just the exact amount of liquid is at the coil, but when not they just simply don't work for me. After taking them apart and dissecting them I just dont see the $50 as any type of value as is. One good thing is they are very easy to rebuild though if you fry one of them, you would only have to wrap a new wire around the small ceramic piece that makes up the coil, they need to re-design this Atty to make it hold liquid and lower the price in my opinion to give them value, I wont buy anymore until they take a serious look at the design, making the bottom part under the coil better and hold liquid better somehow to bring the liquid to the coil.

If they also did away with the fat part offset at the top so a drip shield could be used more effectively then possibly running them in an Empire drip shied would work, but running 2 x 510-510 sealed adapters just doesn't cut it either. Still say they need some work on the engineering of this Atty to get them right, as well as bring the price down to half of what it is. $50 for a disposable that doesnt work right isnt going to get anymore of my coin

well, emonty, doesn't the d/s keep it from leaking?

beautiful page of your mods..... wow...
MWA:

I have mine (4 of them) running in a DS with one sealed 510 adapter for the lipless and two adapters for the one's with a lip and I have zero leakage, strange.

In case anyone is interested, Thermovape is having a memorial day sale 25% off everything with coupon code MEMORIAL25 so that makes for a 30 dollar ava instead of 40 but the cheapest shipping option is 7.25 so it might only be worth it if you buy a couple. Just figured someone might wanna know.

Just received two AVA bottom feeder atomizers. I will try them out and report back in a couple of days.

IT will leak... but it's got great flavor and good vapor (after break in). I find my LR needs a bit of voltage boost to perform best.

I agree, 357 is still the best overall, but why not have both?
Mine now leaks, I am slightly over 1 month. The 357 is still king of the hill in my opinion.
