If it were up to me and kicked back on soldering wires I would make my own long lasting atomizer. Problem is what wire will disengrate (sp) and what wire is long lasting. All it's needed is a proper conducted metal like silver or gold plated (yup you heard me right. Plated!) since they wont erode.
Yeah, make sure you use the leaded solder, that's the healthiest... (being sarcastic here).

AVA has no solder which is a nice attribute as far as I'm concerned.

I'm past the break-in on my atty and it's vaping like crazy. It does bubble and pop some, but I don't care too much. If I drip five drops of fluid, I can go through that in about 10 drags. Those drags produce clouds of vapor. The taste is rich, the throat hit is good, and the nic delivery seems adequate for me. I'm pleased with it so far. I'm waiting to see how long it will last.

I've been through so many Chinese atty's in the last few years. I hold out hope this one will last. I do feel better that the sourced materials are guaranteed lead free (not something that's sure with Chinese made attys). But if these guys konk out as fast as the cheapo ones, they won't be cost effective. Time will tell on that.

I'm not sure how to clean this thing though... I want to start vaping a lighter liquid (have been using Johnson Creek Red Oak Tennessee Cured) but I want to clear the JC stuff before starting a new flavor. I was going to boil the thing but not sure if that's they way with these AVA's... I can't find any advice on their site.

the way I clean them: ultrasonic, leave them in vodka for as long as I don't use them. when I want to, I put it in boiled water for a few minutes, dry them in the oven or with a blow-dryer and they are good to go.

PS: New AVA's are coming, without the lip on top, so it will be nicer to fit them in a dripshield

Thread kinda died in the last few days. Just got my Ava SR. Vaped maybe 1ml though it. Not overly impressed out of the plastic container but I can see the potential after the break in. Flavor is very great, vapor is lacking hope it grows??. Does leak so shield is almost necessary with this atty. I Thought 357 was king of the hill but this atty could over take it??? Still to early in my review....

Are you using a PG or VG liquid? I just started using ECOPure (100%VG, minimal flavor additives) and have excellent vapor on my high-resistance AVA in a ThermoVape T1 (with conversion - 6volt). It's after the break-in period and I'd just cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol for the first time. I used it after a 36 hour drying period.

I picked up a low-resistance "standard" 510 AVA (the one without the lip) the other day. I haven't tried it yet but I plan to use it with my 3.7v manual and auto batteries. I'll report back on the vapor production on that on. I'm expecting it'll be lower just because of the voltage drop.

Ok I bought this bad boy and got it in today, I am really looking forward to day 2 because 5 hours later and this thing is a dream come true. My signature really should be changed because I have invested (literally) well over a thousand dollars trying the next best thing. I have slacked on providing reviews but will start doing it now in hopes that one of mine might help people as much as others have helped me. 15 PVs later (and hundreds of cartomizers, atomizers, and tanks), I believe I have the perfect setup right now.

This atomizer is built solid and you will agree upon first sight, the first couple hits seem like trying to hit a HR atomizer on 3.3v but it gets better. I am using the 1.7 ohm atomizer and at 4v it reads exactly 1.7 ohms. My PV right now is the Provari (I own 3 of them now and looking to get the next one soon). I also have the 3.7 (not vv) provari which works nicely.

My juice of choice is from FreedomSmokeUSA in Tucson Arizona (even though I have to order it online) as their juices are (by FAR) the best out of the 20+ I have tried thus far (Cola and 99 Bananas are my favorites).

So back to this atomizer...

The hit is not a throat kicker at all, in fact until you exhale you will not realize the true draw you will get from using the AVA LR 1.7ohm atomizer. The flavor is unlike anything before (I have several HH357s as well) and is not as hot as you would think by feeling the outside of the atomizer itself. I know that the experience is at its best around 2 days of use but at 5 hours, I am placing my order for a higher resistance AVA. This one is a home-run and would love to hear of anything that would come close to comparable. The cost is high, nearly 100% more than the hh357 but worth it, without a doubt.

In summary, I recommend this atomizer very highly to anyone. I have used it with my eGo, provari, as well as my Darwin and it is worth every penny. Lets hope this is successful enough for Innovapor to pump up product and get the costs down a bit.

(on a side note, if anyone has any tanks, atomizers, or cartomizers they recommend.. please drop me a line, this has become a hobby for me and I have started building homemade units from various items (xbox controller, cigarette cases, flash lights, etc.)).
