Thread kinda died in the last few days. Just got my Ava SR. Vaped maybe 1ml though it. Not overly impressed out of the plastic container but I can see the potential after the break in. Flavor is very great, vapor is lacking hope it grows??. Does leak so shield is almost necessary with this atty. I Thought 357 was king of the hill but this atty could over take it??? Still to early in my review....

The description says because it has a closed bottom, it won't leak.

I just got my LR AVA from Innovapor today and put it on a Provari at 3.3v.
Clicked to see the resistance and it metered at 1.7 Ohms.
Primed it with a few drops and fired it up and ..... nothing. Hmmm.

Just to let you know if you get one and this happens, it seems to fire slower, or unlike the instant crackle and fire of most atomizers, it seems to heat up gradually, like i have to hold the button a second or two before the heat gets to the coil.

It does leak. Being it's an LR and I dread firing it dry, I need to get the feel for ow many vapes i can take before the typical 3 drops is used up and it gets in danger of frying the coil out... any comments on that?

I pretty much agree with what folks are saying here about it being a "flavor" atomizer, meaning heavy on the flavor vs vapor. I use more VG than PG and love me some vapor, but flavor is more important. If I wanted vapor, I'd stick with a conventional atomizer and forget about flavor - no thanks. I'm feeling good about it right off the bat.

yes, i figure as much... i hope i get more vapor out of it soon enough too.
It does lean heavily on the flavor side, but vapor is a big part of enjoying vaping. I'm getting incredible head rushes from the AVA, so I know i'm consuming my ejuice.

do you all just drip the normal amount of juice?
Is the coil prone to frying if you get too many dry hits, like the HH357 LR?

Getting 1.6, 1.7 Ohms, and using it at 3.6v .... different kind of vape, i'll say that.
For more vapor, I fire my 357's on a different mod, and for just plain old vrooom, I go with a i06 on anything, and an Aero on my b/f's.

Yes in a couple of days it will start firing the usual way , sometimes making a sudden pop ! Sound but nothing to fear :)

I use my LR ones with my alpha only so cant comment on pure dripping but you probably figure by now that they do eat more juice than other atomizers , on the vapor department i say i get decent vapor not like hh of course but just a little less than a joye lr.

Till these date using only 1 of the avas i have and still havent die and i have run 200ml or more with it.

wow, it's getting better and better!
that's 2 big steps in vaping ... i was loosing faith a couple months ago with my stash of 50+ conventional atomizers, and even the rebuilds... then i met the 357, and now the AVA.... keep hope alive!
yes!!!

i sold a ton of stuff on the classies; hundreds of dollars... atomizers and mods including 2 sought after rebuildables. I am stocking up on the next level in atomizers now. Couldn't be happier.

that's good to hear emonty... i'm ready to get a couple more. still don't know the difference with the USA ones, and the b/f ones you got. A good thing about Innovapor is they ship fast, but i'm not in a hurry now.
I have a hunch they're all pretty much the same design.
I love LR, but with all my VV's I'd better try an SR too.
good to hear Ukeman, the AVA is the BEST atty ATM......

Uke: I don't have the BF version (open centre post), The LR and SR are good, I don't care for the HR as it is 4.5Ohm. Some of my mods can handle that but even so, the batties will drain so quick it is useless for me. Besides the HR is not going to give anything that the LR and SR give. I like the LR the most I think, it heats up the fastest and the flavor is just 100%. I don't get any atomizers anymore, moving to Genesis, but these AVA's will be there for dripping and testing flavors......

USA versus non stamped one's: same atties, I have both and don't notice any difference.

The HR to perform (around 10 watts) needs 6.7 volts, that is 1.5 amps
The SR to do the same, needs 5,5 Volts, that is 1.8 amps
The LR: , needs 4.2 volts, that is 2.3 amps

The difference between the SR and LR in amps is not so much, also IMHO the 4.5 Ohm HR needs more time to heat up for what ever reason, I had two and none of them worked good.

Emonty, wouldn't the HR version increase battery life because it would pull less amps for the same wattage?

emonty, what about the ones without the lip? are they the USA or not....

do you get yours from Inno or Thermo? they're the same but just wondering.

about you going to Genesis, do you find they taste as good as AVA or 357? I haven't gotten them to do so ... but that might just be me.
