NEW Oakley Gemini Dual Coil 2ml eGo Clearo 2.4ohm - BLUE, Smokey, Clear
$7.95

The Gemini is a WELL performing, exciting new dual coil clearo by Oakley Technology. They have taken pride in it as evidenced with their own embossed branding on the clearomizer. We put it through its paces and you can view the demo below in the video. We were very pleased with its performance.

The Gemini has a seriously secure connection and we experienced no leakage whatsoever in the two days we were putting it through its paces. A healthy sized o-ring is at the base and you first must push your tube over it before screwing it in to the base. Its a very secure seal.

The Gemini has a 4 wick lead dual coil replaceable coil head. The coil head assembly has a long air stem built into it and it screws in near the base. This should provide a tighter connection when removing the mouthpiece to fill the Gemini. But always re-twist the coil-head to make sure it didn't come loose after a fill.

  • The coil heads we tested were right around 2.4ohm but the box stated 1.8-2.6. We don't know if that means each unit can be anywhere in that range or if it means they offer those various ohm resistances since nothing was marked. We'll assume they are all around 2.4ohm
  • The Gemini has a detachable matching color transparent 510 mouthpiece. You can use your own drip tip or mouthpiece
  • ~2.0ml
  • 510 connection with eGo skirt.

Charlie- we think they are all 2.4 but they didn't mark them or have the ohmage marked on the boxes or our invoice. But we tested several and they were right at around 2.4 so we'll assume they are that and yes dual coil.

4 wicks, that's GOOD, I'll try these too but the ohms at ? is not good. But that's OK if they deliver and are 2coil above 2 ohms is good

Norman, Ok
I got mine this morning... along with some 14500's that I ordered for my Robust and a NET juice refill from another vendor...

After charging up the batteries, I stuck them in the Robust and tested both of the Gemini's resistance... one came out at 2.3 the other 2.2 ohm. I filled the blue one with a favorite juice that I've vary familiar with as well as what I have loaded in a Kanger ProTank so I can do side by side taste comparisons.

Filled the Gemini and let it set a bit. Rechecked the resistance and set the voltage on the Robust to get about 6.5w... fired it up and took a vape. Re-checked the resistance and as usual, it dropped a little down to 2.1 ohms... reset the voltage to compensate. I vaped it this way all afternoon and got great results ( with one minor issue that is only related to the Robust )... Got home this evening... grabbed the Protank that I'd forgot at the house... checked it's ohms and then set the voltage again to get around 6.5w... took a few vapes. I really couldn't tell much difference in flavor between the ProTank and the Gemini.... which is great.

Ok... about that minor issue with the Robust. It turns out that it has a very skinny center post... the Gemini has a large hole in the center of it's center post so the end result... no connection. A 510/eGo adapter ( or a 510/510 extention ) fixes this minor issue. The Robust is the only PV I've seen with such a skinny center post, so I doubt many ( if any ) other PV would have this same issue.

Taste wise.... you can't loose if you select either the Kanger's ( Protank or Evod ) or the Gemini... both are very clear tasting and good flavor saturation.

Cost wise... The Kanger Evod's are the cheapest to purchase and the replacement coils cost less. The Protank is a lot higher itself but the coils cost the same as the Evod's so over time, the Protank would be a better deal cost-wise.

Drip tip... The Gemini all the way since they aren't changeable on either Kanger. Obviously if someone preferred the Kanger tip, then this would be a none issue.

Longevity of the coils... The Kangers last a long time... time will tell about the Gemini
