My taste bud war started at about 2 months. At that time I was still mostly vaping tobacco. I would find one I liked, but after a week or two my buds would rebel. I started getting into more fruits. My war lasted a couple of months, until I finally settled on 2-3 juices, but I had many advances and retreats during that time.

Wow, thanks for all the responses. In answer to some of these questions, I've been using 2.4 ohms. I vary voltage a little but do try to stay within the recommended 4.4 to reflect ohms used. Cartos do taste somewhat better. I switch juice throughout the day, sometimes, the taste goes bad within 3-4 puffs. Have been wondering whether I have some sort of allergy though I have no dermal signs of it.

I dunno, as I said, it's all pretty depressing. I'm going to try Biotene, I'm going to try flavorless, and will try a different mix--maybe even 100% VG if flavorless doesn't work. I am hoping that it's just extended vapor's tongue. I would be so happy if I could enjoy vaping the way others seem to. Either way...I'm thankful that the e-cig exists and has made it possible to quit a habit I loathed. If anyone else has any suggestions, please post. I'll try anything!

BTW Katyloo, I DO have allergies. Pretty bad ones in fact. It could be my whole mouth/nasal thing just doesn't jibe well with e cigs.

Sorry to hear that, but just hang in there. What I do is stick with strong flavors: mints, tobaccos, lime is also good. I really like the Kentucky Premium tobaccos at Vermillion River. I also order from Mount Baker and don't hesitate to add all 5 extra flavor shots.
