My personal opinion is lower the voltage to 4.0 to 4.2 (nothing higher), add some extra flavor if the vendor does this (and if not, find one that does), sweeter and colored ejuices are typically stronger in taste so get small (10ml) bottles of it first (if you are not doing that already). Get lighter nicotine levels (I found some of the higher nicotine levels lighten the taste). Prime the e-cig (automatics take a couple small puffs before doing a regular analog drag and manual hold the button down for a second or two) and take smaller drags on it. The longer drags on the e-cig will cause a battery burn taste (chemical). I also found that 70/30 and 80/20 to be the best mix for myself; get great strong flavor. Also, if you know of experienced vapors around you - check to see if you are adding the ejuice to the carto correctly...I have noticed myself sometimes not adding in enough or even too much. When I add too much then the carto goes bad fast and I loose all flavor and when I add too little, it is not long before I am burning and tasting the chemical taste or burnt taste.
Bluemist vaping has some pretty good juices and they add extra flavor also, they also have a couple samplers where you can choose different flavors. My Freedom Smokes has some really good flavorless juice (from what I have been told by some people) at a very good price. Mountain Oak Vapors has some decent flavors but many of the tobacco flavored ejuices have a chemical taste to them (my opinion).
hope you get it sorted out and congrats on 83 days analog free - that is awesome. I have personally assisted 5 people locally get into e-cigs to quit smoking and they would love to hear that you have been 83 days analog free. They like myself do still use analogs.
My experience has been with the KGO and also an 808 black slim e-cig (can't remember actual name of the 808). I have personally gone through about 100 different flavors and several different combinations of nic levels, added flavors and different mixes (50/50 - the worst for me besides 100%, 70/30, 80/20, 60/40). I am still trying to find the best way to vape to get a strong and smooth "mouth hit" that is strong and a mild to strong TH that is also smooth like an analog - the better I can immulate the analog the better. Personally, I like mixing the RY4 with a "Newport" type menthol but also mixing the RY4 with fruit flavors (cherry, pumpkin pie, and apple cinnamon) with the fruit flavors having extra flavor. I am still checking out different flavors from different vendors.
