Back in the saddle - riding a USB PT

Riding a 510 USB PT with a shiny new 2.5 ohm atomizer all thanks to VapourGuy, had 5-6 analogs earlier today at the shop but I haven't touched one since I got home and opened the mail and seen what he had sent up my way. This thing is the bomb too, ya plug it in and pretty much forget about it sans topping up the cart now and then. When I'm home and all the daily duties are done I pretty much get parked at my desk in the computer room and either read something interesting on the www or game with the kids over the lan so yea being corded up to a nicotine pacifier is no big deal for me whatsoever

Anyway gotta go...someones banging at the back door...oh wait...it's probably the mom...my littlest man has likely pushed the door shut while she was outside having a smoke...see he's a pretty smart little fella...keeping that stinky second hand smoke outside and all

Is the Passthrough 5v? I thought I read that most 510 attys are 3.5ohms and that low resistance attys and cartos are better used with the lower volt 510 batteries?

No it's a 3.7v battery type passthrough...

Simple yet effective little device and it has kept me away from the cancer sticks since I got home yesterday. I took a pocket clip off of an old tire pressure gauge and slipped it on it. I can unplug it, clip it to my shirt pocket, stuff the battery in my jeans pocket and go watch TV or whatever. Also glued a little magnet to a shelf upright on my desk to stick it to. When I'm done having a puff I stick it to that magnet in an upright position so it won't get knocked about while it's plugged in, wouldn't want the wire to get stretched or anything dumb ... like that. Being placed in an upright position also helps with the wicking of the juice from the standard 510 type cartridges between puffs.

Although it's a 3.7 device I'm pretty sure when I checked it with my volt meter it read 4.2 or 4.3 but that was when I had it plugged directly in to the wall with my ipod usb plug and I always found that it gave a little warmer vapour and better flavour than my ego batteries.

Cheers to you Stew!!!!!! It was also my 510 passthrough that got me off the cancer sticks! I adore it immensley, and like you I park my .... at the computer and vape away. I forget the past life of analogs completely. And almost 3 weeks later no analogs! So glad you found us!! I was worried there for a bit..but now..I am totally not!!! WAY TO GO!!!

I just got my usb setup. kinda cool toy but dripping I have quickly learned isn't for me. great to taste new flavours but the constant work would drive me nuts
