Here it is, LAW 44:

e-liquid and E-Cigarettes (and all their components) are now considered tobacco products. We can't vape inside vape shops anymore, no more online sales of anything vape related (in Québec only, makes total sense...) and to top it off shops must hide all merchandise from the public.

We are being shut down!! This is horrible. I hope the rest of Canada doesn't follow our governement.

Well, there is something 'special' about Québec, in the same way that there is something special about California, Chicago, Detroit, NYC, most of New England (and others) in the US.

I really don't think it's so much California as it is San Francisco and, to a lesser extent, Los Angeles.

I agree those may be the worst wrt local regulations but California in general likely leads all states in their levels of regulation and taxes.

Not to derail this thread but the anecdotal, but a true statement made by Dr. Neeki of the Arrowhead group with regards to California vs. Ohio (he came from Toledo, Oh) regulations:

"Neeki arrived to Southern California from Ohio in 2006. Three years later, he began as a volunteer with the Rialto Police Department, then joined the Inland Valley SWAT team in 2012.

Neeki said it took him nearly a year and half to meet California's regulations to join the SWAT team as its only physician. "

Odd, that the exact statement I heard while watching is either hard to find or I couldn't find it, but he elaborated on the amount of regulation in California vs. Ohio for the same position. There are hints but not the exact wording - may be on videos but decided not to check.... .

All I'm saying is that there are large portions of the state that don't like what's going on...

That's true for any Blue State. (also true for any Red State but for other reasons of course). My point was that it was the California State regulations that put it at #49 for worst regulations, where even the worst of the local regulations would also hinder business and living life.

Yeah, but I don't like your point.

But what's up with the no online sale policy.. You can easily get nicotine gum or patches online I'm almost sure about that fact...
+ you can order straight up nicotine to DIY it yourself..

Now it's all considered tobacco products.. from the battery to your e-cig.. What the heck :p

This government has me speechless.. not just with that issue but with all the mess they're making.

Here is a document summarizing the various taxes on cigs in the different Canadian provences. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...P9eKfei6--0QaUwqw&sig2=dAFzn4FG4ZBkDQPJXFO6_g

As usual most of the money goes for taxes. To know Canada is to know what the word provincel means. It will be interesting to what happens in Quebec.

I agree with the guy in the video. I'm a single issue voter now. I would even vote for trump if he said he'd stand up for vapers. I'm that concerned which is about as concerned as it's possible for me to get.
