Consider this
1. PM (Phillip Morris ) is trying to buy the Ruyan PATENTS

2. The FDA and Big tobacco ( I.E. PM ) are mandated to create a SAFER CIG. !!

3. The FDA and PM decide that the ECIG is the PERFECT idea to be a SAFER CIG.

4. PM buys Ruyan , owns the patents FDA APPROVES ECIGS 8-o

5. FDA gets to TAX the ECIG , PM gets the market we get the SCREW !

Not really we will ALWAYS be able to get the parts and juice whether it is legal or not !

You're absolutely right. It's all about two things: Politics & Money

Once big business gets their legal hands on patents/rights then it will only be a matter of time when the price of everything "vaping" will become close to or equal to that of smoking cigarettes.

Fortunately, the technology is quite simple as well as the component parts and liquids to make e-cigs work. Push comes to shove there will always be a black market for everything.

I got some ancestors in the family that were Moonshiners, and we all know what do about the Revenuers!

I'm not too worried about it. I don't really see parts getting banned in the US. If they do, the Chinese are super crafty and will find some way to ship us our attys. Liquid could be an issue, which is why I've been trying really hard to cut down my nic level and mix my own flavors. I could see the FDA limiting our nic levels and flavor options, but with friends in the chemistry world and various flavor extract options, I think I will be able to find a way around the FDA.

Hey, maybe we all lost track of something.

Aren't we supposed to quit e-cigs anyway after quitting real cigs?

I thought we were supposed to utilize these as a 'smokeable patch' and then quit them altogether for ultimate health and cleanness...

Have we lost all our minds?

Sure, I love vaping, but it feels just as wrong as cigs, regardless of the minor health-increase.

The goal to accomplish here is ceasing to take nicotine...

I thought that circumventing that goal and settling with this alternative for life is totally wrong morally... and biblically...
