Bastos Wick

Here's what Bastos wick (3mm) looks like compared to regular 3mm wick. Couldn't really get a good pic but the Bastos wick is much thicker than the regular 3mm wick. It feels more like rope and is less pliable than the regular 3mm.

It's nice. I built a 1 fold with .32 Kanthal 4/5 wrap. Holds a lot of juice. Easily 10-15 drops. My usual build is a 2 fold with regular 3mm 4/5 wrap of .32.

The Bastos wick is so thick when you make a fold its slightly harder to make nice circular loops. My first time around the loops came out slightly oval. It just take a little getting used to. It's makes a fun vape.

Braided wick hasn't hit the Philippines yet. Bastos wick has been a craze since it was released a while back. Its a thicker version of basic wick. It still is 3mm but has a nice density to it.

one of my local vendors is carrying this now. looks like german silica to me?

I've been playing around with this over the weekend and I'm pretty impressed. It wicks fast and holds a ton of juice. It's dense and a little stiff, but you can get a lot out of just a little. I'm done with ekowool at this point, I think.
