I though I would start a new thread...I was curious about the remarks made about the stallions and so I took one from the original batch and gutted it and also did the same with one from the 2nd. batch. I laid the parts side by side and because these tired old 81 year old eyes ain't what they used to be , got my desk mag. glass and looked over all of the parts. I found that everything was manufactured exactly the same on both batches. I was not able to find any differences at all. Next is where my feeble mind can not understand. I have always thought of polyfill as gobs of stuff not only used in our carts but also in pillows, boomboxes etc...this material is in the form of a sheet that can be stretched "carefully". This so called sheet is about 1 and1/2 inches long and starts by covering the wick assembly and then simply drifting down the tube. There are about 3 wraps around the wick...in fact the intire length is the same. If the manufacturer says that 80% is gone then that means 12 wraps have been eliminated to equal 100% of polyfill. Does this mean that the rest of this would normally be wrapped beyond the wick? or is this a form of polyfill that I am not familiar with. After all, this is my first time gazing at the insides of a cart. I hope that you folks can straighten me out on this. If this method is normal on all carts then I'm going to feel a bit on the stupid side...LOL
oops...one thing more...I still think these stallions are great....been using 4 of them from the original batch since July 21 and just about finished with the last one.
