Steve, have you considered a special battery for our troops overseas?
These could be an extra long battery with the led left out and painted a desert camouflage? I think they might really appreciate the special product to use in country in Afghanistan and Iraq.
I know it would take some special work at the factory and may not be financially feasible to come up with the special colors but I think it shouldn't be very hard to make a small run without the led. The troops could paint them camouflage themselves. I know others who aren't in the military have stated they would be interested in a model with no led for stealth vaping so these might be useful to the general public as well.

The easiest solution is thus: take a condom off the cart and use a marker to make it black/brown/green:) Place that over the led and then when they're not in the field they can let their light shine:D Field expedient:D
RIMP:evil:
Won't work on the autos you need to draw air through the bottom to activate the switch, putting the condom on it will make it fire once and then it won't fire again.

Steve you always have things covered :)

Have I ever told you I love you? :p

I have been wanting non LED batteries. I am not military, but this is a wonderful idea for them!

Yes Kimmie that's great for you but I think the guys in the field need something error proof. If their led happened to be seen even slightly it could mean death in their case.

oh i deff agree for the troops, i was referring to the general public part haha. I will buy one anyway, i have to have whatevers new. its a curse

First time post, my first e-cig order should be here today :)

An LED-less battery would be an absolutely great. With NV the smallest LED and analogs show up like the sun especially if they pulse, like when taking a drag. Although I'm not sure of the market, most Infantry switch to smokeless tobacco when in the field and on night ops - at least that was the case when I was in (last deployment was 2004) which predates e-cigs.
