battery slide issues resolved

I have stumbled on a small, cheap cosmetic aide that also takes care of the battery slide sporadic issues. I buy sheets of vinyl, mostly carbon fiber or chrome looking and apply it to some of my mods. Even though the surface is like contact paper, I put a small piece on the battery cage and viola!....battery slide issues have gone away. Has worked 100% of the time for over 2 weeks.

Those look very cool - what is the gold/brass sticking out of your RES, by the way?

thanks - the gold is just an EGO short cone that I slide over the drip tip.
