Be Careful ordering from myfreedomsmokes

I don't post on these type of forums, but I just wanted to pass along a warning about this company. I placed an order with them last month and a my credit card was hacked to the tune of $997.00. Thank goodness I caught it, as did my credit card company. They have acknowledged that this has happened to multiple people. My credit card is taking care or this, but Im just passing along the info. They may be a great company, but they are having trouble with their payment processing company. They told me this.

Interesting. My bank card info was also recently stolen, but I never received any notices from anyone to guess what site it might have been stolen from. I think my last MFS order was back in March sometime.

What was the time frame between when you ordered and when your card was hacked?

This is how it happened. I received a an alert from my credit card for fraud. I looked back, and the last time I have used this card, other than Walmart, was MFS. I sent MFS an email and they were aware of it. They said that I wasn't the only one to bring this to their attention.

Yep, I got caught up in it about this same time last year Hopefully they are on top of it and can get it back under control.

I ordered from them last week but nothing funky with our credit card. We check our balances every other day as a precaution anyway.

They were testing the account before they withdrew. It only has to be a dollar or 2 to start, if that goes through then they go big.

I've always use a prepaid visa for purchases online.

It just pisses me off that this can happen. I've only had my credit card info stolen twice, and both frigging times it was from an online vape shop.

I guess I have to order direct from China, but then it will be back ordered and get lost in the mail for 38 days. (Lost inside the US, 5 packages, 38 days)
I would rather pay COD.
