Uncle.... there is a recipe for a clone juice that both me and the kid enjoy... needs big steep tho... basically Absinthe, Horehound, and a little citrus. I don't like black licorice or sambuca but really like absinthe for some reason. This juice not only tastes great but if you have lingering odors in your tank... will get rid of that too. Major tank cracker tho.

Interesting - Never heard of "Horehound" before . . . "Hore" - YEP . . . "Hound" - YEP . . . But "Horehound" - NOPE . . . ;)

Now - Are Ya' Willing To Share The Recipe . . . ;)

Yeah, when Powerband and I were talking about the contest, we decided we really want it to be friendly, and for everyone to get to know each other and him.

This one sort of reminds me of another one I participate in, but that one only allows one post per day, so it keeps you from chatting as much as you might like. I always wish that the other one was more chatty. :)

We put the suggested questions in to give a starting point for conversations. The mandatory first question is to get people familiar with his site and his products, as well as to let him know what people want to see in his store. There are so many products available, that without feedback, it's hard to know what to carry. :)

As "You" probably know already - I couldn't agree more, especially since I am involved in a few threads where "We" do this already and know this works very well . . . Well - That is as long as people don't get carried away with frivolous and/or superficial "STUFF" just to post so that they are entered into a contest . . . IMO - "Chit-Chat" Is Always GOOD ! ! ! especially since it creates a closer community of like minded people that are interested in the the vendor's products and can help each other out finding what will work for them too . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Boca Raton is considering banning it in all public spaces and it could mean jail if you vape in the wrong spot. One councilwoman got a "whiff" of vapor at an outdoor concert and now she is convinced that she must protect all the citizens.

What scares the dickens out of me is the FDA and the State and local governments cracking down on vaping. After 4 1/2 years without smoking, it would be just far too easy for me to fall back into smoking.

Join CASAA - The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association it's totally FREE.

Now back to your regularly scheduled contest.....

You have some nice stuff! I love the looks of both mods with their respective toppers. That is one big tank on the left!! ...and that adapter on the Chi makes it work nicely - love that! This is where my collecting gets out of hand. Things I don't need but love the looks of. It is really like art to me!

The one on the left is the Big Buddha. It is an amazingly beautiful topper, and it performs as well as it looks.

Yeah, I do like putting different mods and toppers together to give a great look. :)

I'm very lucky to have so many nice vaping things. Part of the reason is that if there is something you really want, you can let Bruce know, and if it's something he doesn't have to order a large quantity of, he can get it for you at a really good price. Some things, (especially batteries), you have to buy a lot of in order to get just one, but other things can be bought a few at a time, or even one at a time, and those are the ones you can special order. That's how I got my E-Mech and a bunch of other things. It's a little bit hit or miss, because so many things have a huge minimum, but there are a lot of others that don't.

Never heard oh horehound? Never? That was one of my favorite candies growing up. It's somewhere between licorice and root beer.

I would like that recipe, too! I haven't started diy juices yet, but it's the plan. I fear that we may all be pushed there eventually.

My mother used to give us horehound candy when we had a cold. It soothed the throat, but now when I taste it, I think about having a cold because of that!!! Don't like chicken soup any more either. :D But I should get some horehound to vape for when I do have a cold. It might be soothing.

Yeah, I like the closeness and helpfulness of a contest like this too. We decided to pretty much keep it to vaping so it won't turn into a mass spam contest.

I feel like some of those contests out there might be fun, but how many people actually look at the vendors site, and how many even remember what they are playing for? You and I have been on one for a vendor in NY, who you have visited in person, since he started. Remember how friendly and close everyone used to be on his contest threads? And how everyone on there bought from him? Now his contests are just like everyone else's, and nobody talks about his products and service.

That's how I wanted this one to be. I wanted it to be like the contests he used to have.

Uncle, I have a bone to pick with you, your avatar makes you look like a grizzly old north wind, and we have too much of that here. You really need to change into a kind, gentle, warm spring breeze!!! :D

Scares me to no end, too. I'm just 90 days free from smokes...

That's why I've been investing in mods, chargers, and rbas so I can stay clean if the crackdown does come.

Next, I'm gonna build a still...

At this point, I would be okay if they banned everything, except for the nicotine. I have plenty of mechs and RDA/RTAs, and those should last forever. They can't ban Kanthal, cotton, flavoring, pg or vg, but I definitely will need to borrow your still for nicotine extraction. :)

When I started vaping I remember reading posts about preparing for some kind of vapocalypse where people were stocking up on everything and thinking to myself that this was a bit of over reacting. Now, not so much. The way vaping is portrayed and handled in many localities is just bonkers.

This is not just my excuse for buying everything I see :), but it helps!

Jup........I'm in the process of getting a bottom feeder. (don't really like to drip all the time) for these same reasons, and why I'm getting into DIY. Gotta get supplies first......get the BF, then start laying in the nic. Texas has a bill introduced, but I really don't expect it to pass. Stupid part is requiring signature delivery at 6.00 extra charge so they can check ID for anything ordered online. Really????

Congrats to those with a milestone!!

I find myself in the odd position of my 3 year vaperversay is coming up, but also I am just a month back off smokes. Hit a major snag over a year ago now and spent a year + living in a homeless encampment, seemed just about everyone there smoked, and my stress was through the roof and I had started smoking again.

Things are much better now. In an apartment, got my vape stuff going and back off cigs. And taking measures to insure that doesn't happen again.

They sure are popular. I have been an mvp2 user for a long time and I am wondering if I should switch over to these isticks or get one of the new 30 watt mvp mods? I love the sturdy feel of my mvp and the battery does not seem to wear out over many months of use. I'd love to know how the istick batteries will last over the long haul, but we may need time to tell us that. The size might be small for my hand as well for the istick, as the mvp just fits my grip well. Anyone have an opinion on the sturdiness of the istick? Does it fee like it can take some wear and tear?

On thing I wished you carried were the higher-end (if I can use such a term) iSticks like the 30w and, this, the 50w. Adjusted to RMS instead of Mean and better threading. They are still cheap compared to some of the other electronic mods out there, but they do seem to be popular...

Even with some time where you went back on the smokes, think of all the cigarettes that you didn't put into your body during that long period of vaping. That is a great accomplishment and I congratulate you on this big vaperversary! Glad to know that things are better in general for you and that your living situation is improved.

Oh Nancy, so sorry you had to deal with all that, but glad things are better now and that you're back to vaping! As Remark said.....don't worry about the snag......think of all the good you have done for yourself!!

I do, and I have had some really awesome friends in the vaping community who have helped me. During that time, I couldn't even buy juice as no way to shop online and the places that sold juice in Seattle don't sell what I need. Which was part of the problem. To top it all off the day I left FL to move back to Seattle WA my provari had quit, leaving me only 2 working devices one of which is the empire and again being unable to shop online the lack of B&M's carrying things like 901's hurt.

I actually picked up a 50w. I have owned two MVP2's. One developed a fault with the chip (out of warranty--will read resistance, but won't fire); the other is still hanging in there, but I've noticed it will not hold a charge as long as it used to (sometimes for just half a day). Since the MVPs have been my everyday device, I needed to pick something up quick. I had been holding out for reviews on the MVP3, but the 50w came out just a few days earlier and so I ordered one.

The 50w is actually close to the size of the MVP2 in size--it's a little wider than the the MVP2 and a little shorter. The 20w and 30w are just on the small side for my hands, but the 50w is big enough for me to grip firmly. The round edges make the grip comfortable, the fire button works great in the trigger location, and I use my pinkie finger to hold the device from the bottom (much like I do when gripping the MVP). It seems pretty solid, but I suspect that the brick design of the MVP would outlast the iStick in the ruggedness department. Still, not a bad deal. I would consider picking up another--but probably after I scrape the funds together for a new MVP3.
