Why, if I'm in the UK (as are the servers), am I expected to pay in US dollars? This means that not only will I have to pay a charge to convert Pounds Sterling into Dollars but you will have to pay to convert it back again.

Suggestion: Couldn't Verified Member status be given based on contribution to Supporting Member, if you use Paypal? This would simplify things, as you will already have a Paypal verification. You could just pass a listing to the "Verified Member" admin. Might cut their workload some, as most people seem to have both banners.

Last week Friday I decided to become a supportive member of ECF. I am very satisfied with the information that I can find on the forum and everyone is very friendly and helpful.
I do have a question... how do I know if the website received the payment and not a glitch account because I haven't got a confirmation email that I have joined the supportive member group.
