thanks for the explanation on different voltage vaping. makes me want to try HV... any recommendations where i can get the cheapest aw imr 18350s with shipping to asia?

On one of the Flashlight (Torch in U.K.) Forums there's a guy who ships from Hong Kong; great prices and he certainly will ship to Asia.....
I'll see if I can find the link

If anyone is looking to stock up on batteries; I strongly recommend they go with 18490's and 18500's....trust me on this; you'll be happy if you do.

Welcome Sax! You will soon understand what all the excitement is about. I've thought long and hard about the GG products.

Not being a smart guy, I have to simplify things in order to understand them better. I also like to use alegory and analogies.

My take is like this;
We can't all have a Rolls Royce or Benz or a Learjet ect, but, the finest vaping device, the GG can be afforded by anyone with the savings of just a few months of smoking. What a great way to celebrate a quit!
The other benefit of owning a GG are the good people on this forum that are selfless when it comes to helping each other out.

Well, I have a "new to me" GGTS coming and I was looking for some batteries....

Thread tl;dr. But for what it's worth, David at Super T posted a graph of the voltage drain under load with different 18650 batteries.

The best 18650 battery to use depends on what you consider to be a spent battery. If you generally replace batteries when they get down to 3.7v, then go with an IMR. If you prefer longer vaping over hotter vaping, then a protected cell might be better for you. Don't be fooled into thinking a 2900mAh cell will last longer than a 2600mAh. As you can see on David's graph, the 2900mAh's voltage drops more sharply than cells of a lower rating.

No mystery or secrets....

If you think about it, an add-on will be available, so make room for it by buying batteries that will allow for it (18500/18490). There's not much difference in performance between those and the 18650 so prepare for what's comin'.

18650 will require the top tube along with the telescope. I am hoping more top tubes will be sent with the next shippment to COV

Are there any bigger batteries that will work with just the telescope and the stealth cap? i.e. 18490?

I went ahead and ordered a telescope anyway while picking up some other supplies - at least those are in stock - if nothing else, it'll be less of a wallet-dent when the top tubes are back in stock.
