Best Carto Tank?

The Vivi Nova isn't a carto tank. Are you looking for something similar to the Vivi Nova, or a carto tank?
I assume you know that the vivi nova is a clearotank, and not a cartotank. The two use entirely different wick delivery systems.

The vivi nova is a clearomizer, or clearo [tank]. Other popular clearos (bottom coils) are the EVOD, the Kanger T3, the Protank (recommend with an air flow controller - very nice), Protank Mini (baby), new Protank V2 (soon), the VapeOnly BCC, some dual coil BCC's, the Vision BCC's (Victory), The Ismoka, etc. Top coils clearos include the iClear dual coils, Kanger T2, countless vivi nova brands, and countless CE# (not recommended imo) in the market. The most popular three may be the EVOD, the Protank and the iClear's.
Cartomizers, cartos and tanks are another subject (my preference is boge). This list will get you started. There are hundreds of different clearos out there, clones, clones of clones, etc.

I just graduated from disposables and my first kit came with Ego Batteries and Vision tanks. Didnt like the Vision, bought a clearomizer called Cutie by Jessy. Huge improvement.
Question for more informed members. How many clearomizers do i need for my set up. If i order a Mini vivi nova and a kanger is that a good start ? should i find my favorite and stick with it or do different clearos work better with with different Juices ? And finally whats a good company to order juice from and what ratio pg/vg is considered a good starting point ?
Would greatly appreciate any help in this regard

Oh boy. That's a ton of questions to answer. First, just to clarify some terminology.
Ego is a type of rechargeable battery. It is not a brand name. Vision Spinner and Joytech Twist are two popular eGo-type batteries that are brands.
Vision is one of the manufacturers or brand that makes e-cig equipment, as is Kanger. So when someone says they got a Kanger it could mean anything made by Kanger, such an eGo battery or a T3, Protank, or Evod (all different models of clearomizers). I know this can be confusing to a beginner, but it can be confusing to someone that is experienced and trying to advise a new vapor, too.
Clearomizers are disposable juice delivery attachments. They can last anywhere from dead-on-arrival to a month. Some are considered "repairable", meaning that the "head" (heating coil and wicks) can be exchanged out with a replacement. Clearomizers can be cleaned and maintained to last longer. I'd recommend having at least 3 - 4 delivery devices of some type available at all times. You'll need backups, as these are not the most dependable or consistant devices made. But they are the easiest for a beginner when they are working properly.
I suggest trying different clearomizers out. There are top-coil top-wicked varieties such as the Vision Vivi Nova and the Innokin I-clear. These may give a slightly warmer vapor. There are the bottom-coil bottom-wicked varieties such as the Kanger Protank and Evod that may give a cooler vape. Cartomizers and cartotanks use an entirely different wicking system and will be different from the above listed.

Concerning juices, if you have a vape shop within driving distance, they normally allow sampling of their juices on the spot. If not, find online vendors that offer sampler packs to try small quantities at less expense than buying larger bottles at a greater expense. Then you can order more in a larger size if you find a winner or two. Don't be shocked to only find a single flavor out of a dozen flavors that you like enough to order more of.

Check out the Triple V Pyrex Premium from Valley View Vapes. You will NEVER find a better carto tank for the money. The service and quality are outstanding!!!!
Thanks for the thoughtful response ... I think my Cutie clearomizer is a top coil device. I love the feeling on my throat and it provides reasonable flavor and excellent vapor. I will take your advice and try other devices too though. As for juices there is only one vape shop in NYC where i live and i wasnt overwhelmed with their juices. I have had better, when trying my friends juice who buys from a company called virgin vapor, but they are a little pricy.

To start, I would suggest getting a few different styles to see what you like best. I thought that I loved bottom coil clearo's, so I never tried Vision Vivi Novas. Now that I've tried them, I stopped using my Kanger MT3's. Another good idea is maybe picking up a 5-pack of cartomizers, like Boge, for a rainy day. They look kind of weird on an eGo, but with clearomizer's, you sometimes get a 'dud.' That way if by some chance all your clearos take a crap on you, you will still have something to vape with.
I've tried several over the past months. I've found that the Kanger Protank and Protank minis are for me. The ProTank is perfect for my mods and the mini fits my ego twist perfectly. The taste seems cleaner than most top coil tanks.
In my search for a better tank I tried iClear 30. I'm not a fan. Nothing tastes cleaner than my ProTanks.

Totally, impressed with the IBtanked....yet to try the Phiniac. If you have the extra cash...Phiniac.....otherwise, the IBtanked is just plain hard to beat for the money.
Didnt know the Vivi Nova was made by Vision. My kit came with a Vision Tank (CE4) that was disposable and was really bad. No taste, weak throat hit and average vape. The Cutie clearomizer i replaced it with is excellent and comes with replacement heads. The only downside is that it just sucks on juice like you wouldnt believe. Almost three times as fast as the Vision Tank.
I will give the Vivi Nova and the Kanger Pro Tank a try though as they seem to be the consensus leaders in their class. I dont want to spend too much time and money trying all different types of delivery systems and brands. I have settled on clearomizers, with replaceable heads i believe.
i have been spending some time on this site and am surprised that no one seeems to have tried the one i have ( Cutie by Jessy ). Maybe its new.
Amen. Thanks to advice from Bad, I ordered a IBTanked and received it today. 19mm Xl complete tank, 25 bucks. Its easy and it works great ! It looks great too. It holds more juice than those others mentioned ( and you can get them even bigger)
The taste is better than the Kanger Pro, Evod, Vivi Nova. Yep, Yep,Yep.
I think the Pro Tank is better than those other two but I guess that's a personal preference.
There is still a place for the Kanger Pro original to me...... like if you like to throw it in your pocket, the drip tip will never come off.
If it were me, get a Kanger Pro Tank for 12 or 14 bucks, but definitely TREAT YOURSELF to an IBTanked cartomizer tank. You will be set!!

Not bashing but the glass from Smoketech is at lest HALF as thick as one from IBTanked...... just sayin....... Just finished doing all my homework.
i have a pyrex cirrus tank with my provari but i ripped the oring from the cartos...i need to replace them orings cause i see bubbles inside when i try to vape. freaken sucks!

All three use all-natural, all-organic flavorings which I prefer; not for health reasons, but because I've found that these types of flavorings taste better to me. Not everyone will agree because personal preference in juice is so subjective. Virgin Vapors and Vaperite both have sampler packs, so you can try these out relatively inexpensively.
I have yet to find a clearomizer that has the flavor production of a cartotank. A cartotank is much more durable, consistant, and reliable than a clearo, IMHO.
I'm a huge fan of IBTanked pyrex cartotanks. For the money, you can't find a better value in a high quality tank. (I own Phiniac and Valley View Vapor tanks, too). I have twelve of the IBTanks, so that should speak volumes in itself as to their quality and value.

I have to agree with Baditude on this one. Those three vendors offer very tank-friendly juices. I'm not as huge a fan of their selections as Baditude but then again I haven't sampled as many of their line of juices as he has. Even though I'm a dripper, I LOVE cartotanks and cartos alike, too. So if you're looking for a jump off point, browse his blogs.
