Best Cartos/Clearos for 100% VG

Hi ECF!

I'm a month in to my vaping experience and I think I'm up the initial learning curve on the variables. I've just ordered an eGo Twist from Vaporkings.com and bought a Vision Version 2 clearomizer to get me started (the website says it comes with a 1.8ohm atomizer installed, but I can replace the atomizer with a full range of resistances).

So here are the facts. In addition to the Twist, I also have two standard 650 mah eGo batteries (which I'm assuming fires at 3.7 ish volts?). I also only use 100% VG juice.

I'm shooting for consistency here, so can someone please recommend cartos and clearomizers that will work well with my batteries and 100% VG juice?

100% VG does not work that well in cartos- some thin it with PGA or distilled water for better wicking.

I recognize that there is a tradeoff. I react badly to PG, so I'm just trying to optimize my experience with the 100% VG.

To start off...I've only experimented with one hundred percent vg before...and I ended up having to cut the thickness every time using cartos...but my nova handles the stuff pretty good with cotton wicks with no cutting...I just have to"do the dip"a lot...generally though I would avoid cartos and carto based tanks as they tend to gum up easily

As Vapoor eyes said, thinning with pure grain alcohol (not rubbing alcohol) and/or water is the only way to vape 100% VG in a carto. 70pg/30vg is a good tradeoff. Some even vape 50/50.

I don't think many juices are actually 100% VG. If they were they would be unflavored and wouldn't wick well. 10-15% of that Boba's bounty is going to be natural or artificial flavoring. It takes a lot of flavoring to taste anything with a high percentage VG juice.

I'm using about as close to 100% VG that anyone can use.

It's 95% VG (from 100% VG Xtreme Vaping nicotine base diluted with VG) and 5% distilled water, unflavored. That's it.

It works great with the Smoktech 2.0 ohm XL cartos and should work fine with 1.7 ohm as well. Guess what? My cartos last longer with this unflavored mix than they did with flavored mixes.

i recently saw a review on the vivi nova v2.5 and the reviewer was using 100% Vg juice and it was vaping great, also if you have allergies to PV you might want to check out the Purity line at Heathers heavenly vapes, they carry 100% vg that uses PG free flavors so you can make sure there is no PG at all. I dont know what they use in their flavorings, but they dont use PG, which is used in most juices as pg is what usually carries the flavor.

Yep, there's a lot of choices out there in flavor ingredient bases. PG, VG, and alcohol are often used.

I can understand this.

I like High VG because of the Vapor Production and Don't care about TH. I also like weet and VG is Sweet.

One thing to remember is that there are VERY Few 100% VG Flavored e-Liquids. Becuase Most Flavors are Mostly PG. So if you buy 100% VG e-Liquid that has 15% Flavoring, what you are actualy Vaping is about 15%PG | 85%VG.

If you having Problems with a VG e-Liquid being too Thick, you can do as others have mentioned and that is to Add a couple of Drops of PGA, Vodka or Water to a 30ml Bottle to thing it.

It doesn't take much so go slow when Adding PGA, Vodka or Water.

I have the same batteries like you do and have been vaping 100% VG for eight months now. I have to say I have not found a solution that can handle the VG liquids. I have found that cartomizers and clearomizers can handle some VG liquids (this is why I have ended up using just few same e-liquids nowadays) but have not found a solution that could handle all flavours 100% VG.

I am going to try mixing VG/PG myself, though have had allergic reactions from pure PG earlier.

I do buy pg and vg from a laboratory chemistry near my home , and I preparing eliquid my self for me and my mom, and saving lot of money, my mom she likes mor vg and I do normally 70 vg 20 pg 10 water

as in dipping the wicks of the nova, or turning the PV over to get the wicks wet

I only use VG (comes mixed with a bit of distilled water) and only use the CE3's. Have the CE4+ v2, kanger T2 & T0, boge cartos, ego-t & C, 510-T, smok tech XXL, along with others and nothing has worked better then the CE3's for me. Vapor is great. Use them at standard voltage as well.

I use 100% vg. Well, as pointed out, it's not really 100%. But anyway that's how it's listed.
My experience is that the thickness of the vg juices varies by vendor. Yes some are too thick. The ones I get from JohnsonCreek Red Oak line of vg juices vape great in my Boges & in my Smoketecks. I use cartomizers no tank. I have found no need to thin them...just vape.
