The debate goes on and on, best advice is to keep an open mind and try various wicking. You'll find the right one (or two, or three) that works for you.

Me, I can't stand Rayon, Cotton Bacon, meh it's OK. I stick with Koh gen Do cause it works best for me. But I still try others from time to time, last one was Cotton Candy brand and I think it sucks.

I almost tried the cotton candy cotton. What about it did you not like?

It's v2, all the cotton bacon I have is v2

I've tried a lot of it, no matter how slowly I break it in does nothing for the flannel shirt taste.

eta here's one, I bought a whole bunch for cheap when one of my local vape shops was going out of business... I guess I saw that 100% tasteless thing and got all excited, but no. They all look the same but some are in larger bags. All v2.

My gf is a hairstylist and uses these for hair stuff now.

You must not have got the batch I have of CBV2 from Ben Wilsons patch in the lower Mississippi Delta, mines great no odd taste at all pure cotton :D
I'm trying some Rayon in a CLR coil right now for comparison it's been a while since I tried it.

I didn't like the consistency, I like fibers long enough that you can comb out. Cotton Candy may be fluffy but the fibers are very short and you really can't comb/straiten them out, sucks IMO

After the wicks have been pulled through the coils as well as have already been cut, you can just gently fray most of the loose fluffs out of the cut ends in such a way that the fibers that remain sticking out of the coils mostly are long ones, and the ones that are sticking out too far after that you can still always cut once more. By gently fraying instead of combing, I find that a bigger number of short fibers can be removed without pulling out too many of the long ones, and I find that this works even better if the wicks fit into the coils fairly tightly, especially because not putting enough cotton into the coils will only give more spitback.

Don't like Cotton Candy brand, Koh gen Do is 100x better, hell Cotton Bacon is even better and I'm not a fan of Cotton Bacon ;)

I know, but I was only replying because of the part you said about long fibers.
Which Cotton Candy doesn't have major reason why I don't like it.

For the record out of Vape specific so called "premium Vape cotton I like Native Wicks Platinum blend the best but I still prefer Koh gen Do overall.
