Very sorry to hear that. I lost my MIL and husband to lung cancer within a year, and my brother to a non-smoking related cancer 5 months later.Definitely. I’m watching my mom die of small cell lung cancer and hearing her chest rattle and watching her skin turn grey is really something. I wish I could say it didn’t take that as a motivator. I’m pretty bitter about it as of now.
I know most people would think that’s a great motivator, and it is, but the stress of it all still makes it all the harder. So if you can cut down or quit during the worst time of your life, you’ve reason to be quite proud.
