RDA Best RDA for Beginner (Mainly a Flavor Chaser)

Hi All,

I'm just getting started rebuilding, and have had enough success building for my SubTank Mini RBA that I'd like to dip my toes in the dripper scene. I know dripping is renowned for flavor and clouds, and would also be an awesome way for me to test out new DIY juices. What rda would you all recommend for someone who is looking to purchase their first one?

1. I am primarily a flavor chaser, but I certainly enjoy clouds too.
2. I'd ideally like to pick up an rda that is relatively easy to build on, since I am new to rebuilding.
3. I need an RDA that functions well at or below 50 watts, because I will be using a Kbox Mini to power it.
4. I've only built single coils so far, but I'm definitely open to dual coil builds (or more) since they seem to be ideal for flavor and vapor.
5. I am on a budget, so I am perfectly fine with picking up a clone.

Any suggestions/guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, that's even more affordable than I was expecting, and looks like the deck will be easy to build on! Thanks for the suggestion

Its not a problem I started out with the same dripper and its pretty straight forward. I Still have mine sitting around but its been retired for the RDA a buddy at work gave me.

Stumpy clone...$9 with a two post design (very easy to build on), great flavor, and I believe it really shines with a single coil at around 30w

Plume Veil clone...you really can't beat it for a 4 post rda in my opinion

+1 for the Igo-W.
Yes, the screws tend to clip your leads (can easily be fixed by sanding the rough edges a bit) and it only has 1 tiny airhole, so you'll have to drill out the airflow to your liking, but it still beats the pants off of a lot more "advanced" attys when it comes to flavor. Screws wont rust (as is the case with a fair amount of clones).
Juicewell isn't overly deep, which makes it great for trying flavors later on. O-rings are good, doesn't leak.
It doesn't look like much, but the flavor is good.

-1 for the igo-w, you will quickly out grow it if you want clouds and there are many atomizers that have improved design wise since it's release.

Yes i know some will say you can drill the air hole out, but tbh you'd be better off spending a few extra bucks on something else, even a clone.

I didn't realize certain clones were so reasonably priced, so I may pick up two or three so I can try out different builds etc. and have a number of flavors going at once. I'm probably gonna place some orders in the next couple days and I'm really excited to get into dripping

I would like to add the Tobeco Velocity into the mix. Lots of vapor and flavor . And the easiest deck to build on.

Should try out the new Minicat RDA by flightshop!
Perfect for flavor, it has bottom and top airflow.
its not too expensive either. Starts off at 40 bucks

Speaking of flavour... Well, nothing can beat Derringer IMO. With a 1.2 ohm build it gets really tasty. And hot. Beware the drip tip!
