I ordered a pair of small scissors with the Singer brand from Amazon a few years ago. They are small and really sharp for trimming wicks. They cut a straight line on each side of the wick that sits on the deck perfectly.
The down side is that I ordered blue handles and they shipped pink ones. They work so well it wasn't worth paying to return and swap for blue.![]()

I have a pair of those. I use them at work when I need to terminate Ethernet cable in a jack. They are sharp and rugged. Professional cable guys always have them handy. I found them a bit thick at the tip for trimming wicks though. I prefer the Fiskars for that.Being an electrician I use Klien scissors made for communications wire. Very clean cut.
