That makes sense. I run Ni200 coils in 2 rda's and temp control works fine on them. Reading the original post (temp changing?) I thought the op was a newbie looking to start vaping with temp control.

Thats what I thought hence my attempt to oversimplify which ended up confusing the issue lol!! Just to say I run TC exclusively now using Ni a little but mostly Ti and mostly in tanks these days althoygh I keep a few drippers going alongside!!

fair enough but not really what I meant and in any case, the starre takes normal kanthal atlantis coils as far as i know.. :p

You can make Atlantis coils fit in the hole and jam it against the silicon seal until it works, but the Starre Pro wasn't designed to use Atlantis coils. That much is obvious by simply noting that the Atlantis coils have a threaded top, and there is nothing to thread it into in the Starre Pro. You simply have to jam it against the silicon seal and hope it doesn't leak.

See the difference at the top of the coil...

I hope you don't think that somehow means that the Starre Pro wasn't designed as a dedicated TC tank.

to be honest, an no offence, but for the reasons I stated earl;ier, it doesnt really matter to me. Its semantics anyway. There is absolutely nothing special about this tank that makes it only for TC other than it only has Ni coils available. Anyway, the VCT kanthal coils work in the TCT right? At leastr the TCTs work in the VCT pro so they must be cross compatible. Its a silly discussion really!!! lol!
