Best tank?

I'd go for the Taifun GT or Squape. These are rebuildable tank atomizers.
23 mm for a flush fit on the provari and the vape quality doesn't get any better imo.

An equally good vape is the Kayfun light plus, however it is more fuss to refill and
to access your coil (you have to dump the tank contents with this one), and it
is 22 mm diameter (although a provari beauty ring for a good fit is available).

Any of these... a really high-end vape worthy of the provari.

though I also got some others, mostly for their looks...

Don't I just know it you beat me to them by a hair.I have to admit tho after seeing what happened to darkgears my ardor to possess one has cooled a lot.I ordered a silver pv1 instead not two minutes after reading Stormy's review.

Now back to thesandmans question.

If you order the Provari kit it will come with a protank 2 and there are a lot of people that love them and most of us are familiar with them.

Next step are carto tanks, Ibtanked pretty much are the hands down favorite at least on this section of the forum, very popular are also
Phiniac tanks, cirrus tanks and I have the feeling once they become more widely known the PV1.

There is an exellent tutorial written by Batitude for priming and filling carto tanks.http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3710-5-cartomizer-tank-setup.html

Next are the step up from the carto to the Killer, Diver, Sophia and the Rose, there inserted instead of cartos in to a tank but you build your own coils for them. I'm still to much of a noob myself to use them.

The creme de la creme would be the Kayfuns be that 3.1 or light or light plus, the russian 91% usw. for that and the Killers and divers usw. you need a knowledge of ohms law , you got to know how to build coils and you better have an ohm meter.

Someone will be along shortly without a doubt that knows way more about this than I do and will explain this much better then I ever could.

My favorites on the provari right now are Carto tanks, and the Kayfun lite.

What Kayfun do you have, that you have to dump the contents to refill?

I just unscrew the top and refill... I have absolutely nothing easier to refill than this... do you have the original or a clone? Because I have a clone, and it's not only easy to refill, top or bottom, it's also got the Russian air flow hole too at the bottom.

Tanks can mean a lot of things these days. For cartos, I like the IBTanks in 22mm, the Phiniac's let me see my inner lion and dragon, and my new favorite is the GP SnP for it's great looks and ease of filling.

For RBA's, originals or clones of the Kayfun (Lite Plus or 3.1), the Ithaka (perhaps a little large for the Provari), and the AC9 or RSST is a nice entry level Genny. Some pics:

Did we mention that you can really bling them out, as well? Good luck, there's dozens of combinations.

If you mean "carto tanks", I love all of my tanks and don't really have a favorite. They all work, none leak... they just look and fill differently.

I love my Kir Fanis Prive-special and Privadero tanks for their looks. The fill port is nice, but I still have to block the top and bottom of the carto with toothpicks to prevent flooding during refills even using a syringe. That's no big deal though. I wish Kir Fanis provided glass tank options for these beauties.

I love my IBTanked gear. I have numerous colors in all sizes. IBTanked is extremely well thought out and engineered. And relatively inexpensive to boot. I can't find a single fault with IBTanked which is why I own more of these gems than any other tank brand.

I love my Phiniac and Skinny Phinny tanks. Their frosted designs are cool... I just wish I could get SS and anodized end caps for my svelte Skinny Phinnys.

I love my GP SnP tanks. Ease in refilling is where the SnP shines and because of this, they are my most often used tanks when out and about. Twist the top cap cover 1/4 turn, refill through one of the two ports, twist back and go. No fuss, no mess, no slap-yo-mama. In fact, I'll be ordering another SnP tonight so I have a dedicated Sophia tank for the road. I wish GP would make an XL glass option. Not a deal breaker there though, as refilling is so quick and simple on this tank. SnP tanks are crazy expensive compared to the other tanks I own. I personally think they're worth it, but the expense is why I currently own only one of each SnP style.

For your first cartotank, I suggest an IBTanked. They are relatively inexpensive as far as a quality pyrex cartotank goes ($25 - 35 for a complete kit). You'll pay at least $44 for a plain Phiniac. Upwards of $50 - $80 for the more premium cartotanks and many of those won't have glass tubes, just plastic.

You'll have a choice between a 19 mm diameter and 22 mm diameter for a Provari. If you don't plan to get a beauty ring (Pro Ring) for the combo, the 19mm looks best. If you do plan to get a Pro Ring, the 22mm looks best.

Baditude's Cartotank Setup Guide

Standard length tanks will use a standard length carto (35mm). XL length tanks will use an XL length carto (45mm). Cartomizer brands will be Boge, Ikenvape, and SMOK (Smoktech). You'll probably want a 2.0 - 3.0 ohm 2-hole prepunched cartomizer on a Provari.
