My buddy who doesnt have an account told me that his mod is starting to take a crap and he's looking for a new one. I'm not sure of the model of his current one but it looks like an older vamo. I told him to get the mvp2 but he says he wants one that uses batteries so he could carry his spares just in case. He already has a few 18650's so he's looking for something that'll fit those.

I recommended the vamo 3 to him, and also the provari but it's out of his price range. What do you guys think?

And I can't read :) You even said so in your OP. Sorry about that. I'm just conditioned to it and I am a former MVP V2 owner. I have a Vamo, it worked perfectly for two days and then... a button stopped working. 2 days. He could probably pick up an eVic on the classis for under $100. Other than that, a SID I guess, but I have no experience with those.

I like the Itaste SVD very solid and if you don't mind waiting can be bought for $37 at fastech aka slowtech... or found in US for well under 100

There's people selling them on ebay for $44.99, do you think they're the real deal or are there clones out there? I'm guessing there isnt and this guy just ordered a bunch from fasttech to make a profit

I like my Sigelei Zmax better than my Vamo. It has a more substantial feel to it, especially the firing button and the 510 connector. FastTech has recently started carrying Sigelei products.

No matter what mod you're interested in for your friend, I highly recommend browsing the APV forum and VV sub-forum, to see what current owners have to say about their devices.

The prices on 101 Vape rival anything I have seen on the net, including Fasttech out of China. There were similar super sale prices to be found on Black Friday deals, but these were from reputable suppliers like Myfreedomsmokes and Vapor World.

Admittedly, I have not been shopping for hardware lately (like only recently, but I am saving for a new keyboard and dropped a bundle on Fasttech in October), so I am not really up to date on the latest pricing. In the ecig marketplace, 6-8 weeks seems like an eternity with all of the new devices (from mods to vaporizers) and suppliers which are popping up on a daily basis. The price competition is getting brutal.

But 101 Vape has incredible pricing across the board, I am just wondering if anyone has dealt with them before and what the experience is.

As far as the choice is concerned, lots of luck! The selection is mind boggling.

Once you make your choice and read all the reviews, google Pennyvaper. They have a price comparison algorithm. Then check ECF on the supplier experience.

I am not sure why people keep recommending the MVP to you since you have stated external batteries as a requirement.

I got a VTR a couple of weeks ago and would happily recommend it, I think you can pick it up in the states for about $80, the build quality is good, it easily fits in a pocket with its recessed tank. The only downside is that it is heavy, but I actually like that so it's more a preference thing.

Oh sorry couldn't see you were verified from my phone or atleast i don't know how too see.

You could show him the classified under your account and use your paypal and just have him give you the cash or tell him to make a account and get it verified
