This is My test of the 510/801 fusion. I used my favorite juice 24mg. Wow 555.
I also used my adjustable voltage passthrough and my Buzz for the test.
I started this test out at 2.8 volts.
2.8 volts--1.01 amps
I got vapor at this level but it is to weak to vape at this level.
3.0 volts--1.10amps
The vapor is good as is throat hit and taste. A nice cool vape.
3.2 volts--1.13 amps
Great vapor production, good taste and throat hit is also good.
3.7 volts--1.33 amps
The vapor production is amazing, It is great at this level as with the last 2 levels. Throat hit is great also as is the taste.
4.0 volts--1.45 amps
The vapor remains great, the throat hit is nice and mellow and the taste is wonderful.
4.2 volts--1.45 amps
The vapor still amazes me and the throat hit is warm. The taste is also great.
4.5 volts--1.62 amps
The vapor is still great, throat hit is really warm now but still vapable and the taste is still good although I'm pushing it.
4.7 volts--1.69 amps
Vapor is immense but the throat hit and flavor are faltering. I would say this is too high to use these at.
Iken at Ikenvape had these made at 2.5 ohms using a 510 platinum cartomizer fused with an 801 fitting. The combination is a winner. I thought the 808 megas were good and they are but these take the prize. The draw is perfect, not to tight, nice easy draw. Not airy though, they put out so much vapor that every puff is filled with vapor.
These also bring out the taste because the vapor is produced, quite massively, at lower temperatures as not to burn it. The throat hit is also kept at a great temperature to make a nice mellow throat hit. I know I said this but I have never had a carto or atty put out this much vapor. It reminds me of dripping.
I believe these perform the best from 3 volts to 4.3 volts to maintain great tast and throat hit but vapor is massive at all levels. My sweet spot for these are right at 4.2 volts. These are definitely my favorite cartos now and I will be ordering these when they become available.
Update: I'm on my 3rd refill and nothing has gone downhill yet. They still perform like the first puff.
