Cotton for Cotton Builds

I have heard that it is best to use organic cotton for this but I can't seem to find it where I live. Is it ok to use boil regular cotton? I have tried it and its doesnt seem to have any strange taste.

I use first aid STERILE 100% cotton balls, I dont'n boil them and never had a bad taste with them. just make sure it's 100% cotton

I just finally got my first micro coil built this weekend and love it.
Just got back from CVS at lunch to pick up some "organic" cotton balls. However it does say "whitened with Hydrogen peroxide"...doesn't seem real organic to me.

To answer your question, yes, it is ok to use boiled cotton.

As others have said, sterile cotton (I got my 2+ year supply from CVS) is also what I recommend to people for cotton wicks. I don't boil it and I might get a cotton taste on the first hit but after that all I taste is the juice.

I may try the sterile cotton. I tried boiling some today and just got lumpy messes of cotton wads..

100% organic or sterile cotton; boil (if you like) for approx 15 minutes and let it dry... once complete, it is ready to vape!

Keep in mind different cottons will change the flavor some will burn quick.

I use cotton sq from CVS $3.79 big bag. No need to boil them.
