Big problem with VG. Need help!!!

I seem to now be having skin problems from PG. I buy the Menthol Ultra from Freedomsmokesusa, and I love it! It's extremly strong menthol flavor, no mintiness, no tobacco flavor at all. Very much like smoking a Kool. I get 70% PG 30% VG. I spoke to them and they said that 100% VG will not work in a cartomizer. That I will need to go to an atomizer. I told them there is no way I'm going to do that because I won't give up my Bloogs. BUT....I don't know what to do. I'm almost ready to just go back to smoking. Between this and the weight gain, I'm not sure it's even worth it any more. Help!

Hey!

Dont stress, sounds like you're getting some weird information. If you have a problem with vg, you can cut it out. Vg is the thicker syrup type juice, and I have heard that straight vg may not wick so well in a bloog carto, but 100% PG should have no problem in the bloogs as far as I know. Really I think it comes down to the viscosity of the liquid. If it's too thick, it won't like the carto, but again you should be fine with 100% PG in the bloogs. What I'm using is only 10-25% vg usually, any my carto's fly!

Again, I'm open to being corrected if I'm way wrong, but isn't bloog prefilled juice all pG anyways?

Anyways don't give up! The worst that can happen is you pooch a carto, and that's a reasonable and cheap way to test stuff out! Hopefully someone smarter then me will respond and help!

PG will not work in a carto? Who is giving out this false information? Bloog juice is 100% PG except for a few who use a bit of VG to make it thicker. Try different PG/VG mixes of your favorite juice to see if it helps the problem.

I'm no expert either, but it sounds like that is completely backwards. VG is problematic with cartos, not PG.

i also seem to hv a pg sensitivity..and i have been having alot more luck with aa 50/50 blend. i would try there and see how that does. plus more vapor which i like. and alot of companies offer many different ratios of pg/vg blends. good luck..and dont give up!!

I have been fine using VG juices in cartos. Malty and Malty toffee only have 10% PG, and they are the most even-vaping juices I've used. AVE's Boba's and Irish Mint (pure VG, I think?) also vape fine in my Bloog cartos.

You have to use the condom method to very slowly *bottom-fill* them. Start with a condom halfway full, and very slowly push the carto down in there. If you see juice bubble up the middle, you are going too fast.

Then you put four drops in the top "around the clock", Taryn spin them, and repeat one or two more times. It also helps to prefill the cartos like this and let them sit overnight so they really soak through.

The New Cartos are suppose to handle VG juices. If they are a little too thick add some distilled water. No more then 10%. If you can get stronger flavor then add some water and or unflavored nic it to get the nic strength needed, or go to a higher nic and add some distilled water. I bought some 100% pure VG juice added 10% distilled water and it worked great in the Cartos.

A lot of people get skin issues and allergic reactions to PG I myself had an episode and changed my PG/VG level right away. You don't need to go back to cig's you came this far way would you want to go back after all the money you spend and the couple of pounds you gained it's just not worth it.

If you know about DIY you can either mix your own juice that tastes exactly like your menthol juice or you let someone else do it for you. I know a couple of people that could do it for you I am not sure about the cost but it can't be more then $10-$30. I use a lot of 100% VG juices in bloog cartos it takes a while to get the juice inside the carto but with some shaking it will go in there.

If you need some more infos about this DIY as I am also fairly new to this topic and don't know too much myself I do know the people that could help you they mix you the exact same juice maybe 99% the same without or at least way less PG then the juice you have right now.

Yes, Indeed! I was hesitant at first to promise too much from the MF V2 cartos, but all indications, from feedback to my own ongoing testing seems to bear out that the problem is largely solved. (I say "largely" merely out of proper caution. There will always be a few cartos slipping through with some defect, so no problem will ever be 100% solved).

Well I did "calm down" a bit. LOL! I've ordered a bottle of 50%/50% juice. We'll see if that helps. From what I've read in some places on the E-cig forum you sacrifice taste when you go 100% vg. And I'm not ready to try any other brands menthol just yet.

Thanks! I'm actually trying the 50/50 percent juice now. I like taste. Had to get used to much less throat hit, but with menthol that's not too bad. We'll see if the reactions get better.

I've been using 100% VG for months in cartos, tanks, atty's. No problem. Most flavorings are PG based. I have a PG issue as well. As long as the base isn't PG. Just the flavoring and VG. I am fine. I DIY my own juice now. Only a few places I purchase.

I actually have a problem with straight PG as well. I've found 70/30 to be my sweet spot. Although 50/50 can be fun because of the massive amounts of vapor. I was chain vaping Madvapes Key Lime Freeze in my cubicle one day, and I hear our project manager say "it looks like Scott's cube is on fire"
