I'm usually more active, but I am just too freaking tired today. I can't think of a thing to post about.
The weather here is better today than it was yesterday. We had bad storms come through yesterday and last night, tornado sirens kept going off, wind was terrible and blew a few tree limbs down. It's cooler here today, 73 degrees.

oh no! wonder if you could get it to root again? ive had success w/ other types of plants but have no experience w/ roses unfortunately...
Sorry about that Becky... a little windy here with the storm approaching but at least we are on the sheltered side of the mountain. I lose more roses because of the snow and ice than wind here.
Soul... that will depend on if it was an own root rose or a grafted one. Good chance it will come back in some form but most of the roses they use for grafting aren't anything you would want to have in your yard.

Ground Breaking has chocolate notes and nuttiness. Decreases some over time. BUT it is a good chocolate imo. If you don't like chocolate don't get it, get countryside, milder and I didn't detect any flavors, just mild tobacco.
My parents lived in Walden Co. for a few years back in the late 70's/80's. They send me pics of a 4th of July picnic in almost 2 foot of snow. lol

you might still get suckers this year or next spring from the root itself. Also you can take cuttings from the bush and put them in water to keep them fresh. Get some rooting hormones at a garden center and follow the directions. I've rooted a couple of them.

Can't remember off the top of my head, but I know I've been through it for some reason. Checked the map, Went through it when we went to Canada one time. and I think maybe I did some deer or elk hunting up around Iron mountain. I found this post in another thread, and decided that this contest is a great place for it to get some exposure. Yasmin817 is a proud minion and deserves our support. I will probably post this every 10 pages or so while I'm on the forum. If I upset anyone that thinks I'm using it to get a better chance at winning then I will take my name out of the running. This is just a nice thing for all of us to do. Dysfunctional though we may be we are a family and this is what family does. So without further ado
