OMGOSH thank you! I laughed so hard for so long I couldn't breathe!

This is the first forum I've found with any positive Blu users. I mean all the Blu h8 had me so cowed; I was huddled in the corner like crying and hoping the mods would work...

I think the facts are that most of the Blu bashers are just lazy whiners. The Blu has some engineering faults and it takes effort to make it work as it should. Blu bashers just aren't willing to put in the effort. I guess we can't fault them for not knowing any better...

Dude......... sorry I have been away for awhile. I go on vacation for a week and when I return to work everyone's comps die. WTFH!!! You'll like the Blu if you stay with it and make it work. I have since tried a few different mods and still prefer the cigarette feel and look. Yeah yeah whine all ya'll want, but at the end of the day I like what I like. Besides. I haven't paid for replacement battery or atty. Blu has a one year warranty. Oh and it works well! I ship 'em broken stuff and they send me back good stuff. Amazing how that works.

Don't let anyone dissuade you, go for what you like. If after awhile you don't care for the Blu, we're still friends hahaha. If you do .... then so what!

I do however like the flex mod from Totally Twisted Texas E-Liquids. That thing rocks. Manual batts only please. especially when he has it hooked up in a dual configuration. Like a Hookah, only - different!

Thing is Reyth experiment and enjoy. No time for hating.... just peace love & vape.

I have a Blu, and I love it. I don't see what all the fuss is about. It only took about a week after I placed the order to get it. Yeah, a 510 kit is cheaper depending on where you get it, but the only problem I had with blu is two bad batteries which were replaced without any issues. I don't like the false claims Blu makes about their product, but there is nothing wrong with the product itself. It does its job, especially when dripping with a drip tip(306 drip tip works, nhaler.com has them).

Volcano parts work, and volcano offers "points" for buying from them. They also offer bulk discounts. I'll be buying all my spare parts from volcano, but there's nothing wrong with the blu. I don't know why everytime someone says they ordered one, like 5 different people have to tell them to send it back without even trying it.

I've got a 510, I've got a Hello 016 and I've got a box mod. Yet my all-day PV is my humble little Volcano because of it's simplicity.I LOVE the flavor of the juices and I'm basically very lazy and don't want to refill carts all day. I stick some pre-filleds in the PCC, another pack in my pocket and I'm good for all day. I want the easiest, closest to an analog process and this is fitting the bill. Volcano is also an awesome company to deal with and their points system is great, I get all my parts from them.

I just got a 510. It's awesome, but I still love my blu. The 510 is more like a small cigar than a cigarette. I actually really don't like the pre-filled carts, at least not from blu. They taste nasty, and the filler sucks. It's much better when dripping or using blue foam and juice from vapor renu. At least until I get a pcc, my blu will be more convenient for on the go(or so it seems so far, we'll see how battery life goes). Either way, I still love the blu. I love them both.

I haven't bought the Blu yet but I'll probably pick one up at some point. I simply can't believe that it's as bad as people say. I broke in the atty on my Volcano and I get just as much vapor and throat hit as I do from my 510. I couldn't be happier. It's keeping me away from cigs while my other equipment collects dust, that's good enough for me. I'm kinda irritated that I spent all this money on other equipment and denied myself what I really wanted for so long based on other peoples opinions. I was a pack, pack 1/2 a day menthol 100 smoker so claims that these mini-models aren't good for heavy smokers is just bunk.

It's not anywhere near as bad as people say. Even taking the OP as tongue-in-cheek, there really is a lot of Blu hate out there. My first e-cig, which gave me my first real hope of getting off cigarettes was a blue. I turned 2 people at work on to them, one of which got one for his wife, and one of my employees who is worried about the cost is getting my now neglected Blu kit for free tomorrow.

However, I no longer recommend that you buy them. I switched a couple weeks ago to a revolver elite. Same price, more juice per cart, easier carts to refill, more options, smart PCC, MUCH higher quality, and still the same size. I'm planning on buying an eGo clone next payday for long car trips and sitting at home, but my day to day running around and "at work" PV will be my Revolver Elite for the foreseeable future.

The only area where I've found the Elite to fall below the Blu, is that the Blu uses the more expensive vacuum activated switch in it's batteries, which makes it very resistant to getting triggered accidentally. The Elite will go on and off continuously, even in the PCC, while driving on the highway. Even with the windows rolled up and everything. It get's set off very easily.

They're definitely not as bad as people say, but if you already have a volcano, don't bother with the Blu. It's the exact same thing except slightly worse. An extra atomizer is nice, but the PCC sucks compared to volcano's.

That's kinda cool they're making an ego copy, but I don't have much interest. I think the ego looks ridiculous. I don't need this to look like a cigarette to be able to use it, but it definitely helps with convenience. It's not so much that it looks like one, but that it's at least shaped like one.

I think where a lot of the blu hate comes from is that most veteran vapers have had a product that didn't give them what they needed. I had the same experience with green smokes. Yeah it worked, and it got me off of analogs. But it was very hard to get a satisfying vape from since I was a heavy smoker. A bigger battery seemed to do the trick for me. To each their own, but I don't think people aimlessly bash a product for no reason. After all, ecf is a place to post your experiences with products. If most of the post I read were negative, I would stay away. But on the other hand, this is all about not using tobacco. If someone finds something that works for them, then hats off to them. You guys have a nice day.

I don't think everybody bashes a product with no basis, but I wouldn't be surprised to learn a lot do. I've seen the same thing before in other forums with other types of products. After a while of enough people .....ing about something being bad, it almost becomes gospel, and then newbies who have never touched it already know it "sucks" and will tell other newbies that it sucks too. Then everybody just completely avoids it. I think they've had some problems in the past that have been mostly cleared up, but people are still ...... about those initial problems. The problems are mostly with the company, not the product itself. There was a thread in the new members forum about a newbie ordering a blu over the last couple weeks. He cancelled because they had something on backorder, at the advice of other members. Now his opinion of blu is a negative one, despite never having even tried the product.

I frequent many gaming forums where this mindset is commonplace, once something has a stigma of being crap, people will NEVER try it for themselves. The people who do actually like it or are more fair about it are looked at as being freaks with bad taste. I think there is just as much "fanboyism" in vaping as there is in every other hobby. Oddly though I never noticed this behavior amongst cig smokers "man marlboros are garbage. Take 'em back and get Newports". It just doesn't happen.

My mom ordered a Blu and I got to try it yesterday. It's not bad. I can deal with the meh battery life, the 510 doesn't have the greatest battery either. I really liked the flavor and I managed to get like half an hour out of the stock carts. Considering that I've literally gone through half a pack of cigs in half an hour, it was no biggie. Since I've been using my Volcano regularly I haven't even thought about cigs, I can't say the same about my other equipment. I finally found my comfort level and the ritual of changing batteries and seeing how many carts I have left is exactly what I need. I'm getting great vapor and a damn good lung feel from this thing, I couldn't be happier. There's far far worse kits out there that people can start with than these "name brand" l88bs.

this thread upset me. even though it was a joke, if someone is enjoying a blucig, you should let them. not everybody wants to mod and tinker and get tons of vapor. i used my friends back in may, and it was pretty decent. i didnt get a ton of vapor, but i didnt get the PG wheezing after using it either. (was using totally wicked dipping in one of their carts) it had better battery life than my 510, and it looks shiny and polished, enough to catch my eye but not overly excessive.

I have an M-401 (Sinless Smoke...I know, no one's heard of it lol). I have been going nuts because my charger is en route from my mom's via US mail, and it's taking FOR EV ER. So a friend of mine gave me a Blu today, and maybe it's just cuz I'm fiending like a ...., but I personally like it. True, I'm pretty much a beginning vaper, but so far, it's not bad. It's smaller than my 401, which lets me hold it like an analog, and it seems to put out decent vape. Then again, like I said, I don't have experience with anything but these two. I plan to get a 510 in about a week, I'll see how that goes and make another comparison then.

The only things I do not like about the Blu is the Menthol cartridges are not as tight as the others and pulls off while taking it out of the PCC, and some of the flavors kinda suck. Other than that, it is a very nice, convenient (since I am lazy and don't wish to do my own filling) product. Especially for a beginner.
